New Grower 1st grow journal - 2nd grow ever

evenin AFN....a quick troubleshooter for the pros...my Northern Light No1 was drooping 3 days ago in the morning, i watered her and by night she went full of joy:

2 days later was all the same again, drooping-looking unhappy:

i left her for the day and next day i watered her again, since the pot was light and shes starting to go up again slowly - slowly....is it possible for her, to need watering every other day? also if an underwatered plant receives water, doesnt she go up after a couple of hours or even within minutes?

and another quick one: should i trim these lower parts since they are shaded by the canopy or leave them as they are?

:peace: n joy everyone have a green grow... :smokeit:

a day later shes drooping again but the medium is still heavy.....anyone??????????

Looks like a heat problem to me. You have good color so ima going to say nutes are good. Looking good one day, walking away with a closed off environment is a good way to get into trouble...

will take care of that, 2-3 inches lower wont hurt her...:D thnx for ur time and advise alley_walker

i have 4 strains under the same environment(lights, temps, humidity etc)...only the two Northern Lights auto are drooping...is it possible for that strain to be more sensitive to temps or something else? also 3/4 strains are from Royal Queen Seeds and are not showing same symptoms (thinking of similar genetics)...PH is close to 6,5, i cant measure humidity, im off to buy a humidity meter later on - u dont think its humidity right? aaaaaand do u think that shes rootbound or something? in need of a larger pot maybe? i have em in 2 gallon pots....

thnx again and sorry for the noobish questionary but really

Never feel as if you should apologize for asking questions on growing here at the AFN. Never. It's part of what we're here for, and most certainly part of my contribution to the Network! Anyways...

Don't think your RH(relative humidity) would cause that. Sounds like over watering or under watering to me. There is a similar droop, but I can usually spot the difference as I have done it myself numerous times. :D

And that would be one thing out of your constants(lights, temps, RH, etc) that can and will change from pot to pot and plant to plant.
2 gallons is plenty of space.
Can you throw a group pic up? :D

thnx for ur reply squid... heres a groupshot:

Royal Haze: fed with 5-10-5 + 8Fe + 2MgO only at 3rd week will add some flowering nutes in 2 days
Rhaze1.pngRHazehps.pngRhazebud.pngRhazecola.png
Northern Lights No1: fed with 20-20-20 / drooping problem(seems better) trying to solve it
NL1.pngNL1a.pngNL1aa.pngNL1c.pngNL1b.png
Northern Light No2: fed with 20-20-20 will add some flowering nutes in 2 days
NL2.pngNL2a.jpgNL2b.pngNL2cola.png
NL1(CFL) vs NL2(HPS) : NL1 has been LSTd 5-6 earlier at 2nd week, and fed 1 week earlier, it seems though NL2 is more mature....lil bit of droopin hopefully they ll perk up...

thnx for watching...have a green grow AFN...:smokeit:

Have you recently watered all of them?
Do you use the weight method to determine when to water?
:D
The one in the middle looks Under watered to me, but could be wrong. :D

i water every plant by the weight method as u mentioned...if shes underwatered then it seems she needs watering every other day - ill b watching her next couple of days and see....the only thing that troubles me is that after the watering shes still unhappy - only leaves that go up are from the middle of the plant and down, upper leaves are drooping even after 2 days...soo ill leave her till the medium is dry and see.....;)
