Lighting 2 Blue AutoMazar single res, using dutch Pro Auto nutrients

Is your ph meter 2 point calibrated? Mabey use mixed water tap and Ro!
I now always use foilar feeding from aqualogic and have zero probs!

Best of luck!

So after looking at the above problems for a while now and checking, re-checking all my meters and equipment I have made the call to switch away from the dutch pro auto nutes. I am going back to my most successful which is Advanced nutes. Will get some pictures up later and you will see why!

I'm sorry to hear the nutes aren't working out for you bro, I too was curious about their performance..I've just had a look back at your pics and I have/had similar markings on a couple of my plants. I don't think it's calmag as that tends to start just with the leaf tips and they will dry up and die off, it looks to me like some sort of nute lockout. For me I got it when over or underfeeding meaning she couldn't get all she needed, but PH being out of whack can do this too.. Just double check all your meters EC/PPM/PH whichever ones you use, make sure they're calibrated. Also if you've changed nutes you may just have the dosage slightly wrong? I always try and see a plant through, mutated or not but I understand this isn't viable for everyone so I wish you the best of luck with whatever you choose to do! Either way you know i'll be here watching brother :Sharing One:

cheers for your thoughts Pal23, I checked all my calibrations last night and ph and PPM meters were spot on.
I am currently running the nutes at
water=300ppm
+ 400 nutes
total 700ppm.
PH stable @ 5.8
I would not have thought that was high at all. Can I ask your opinion Pal23?

I have to say the speed of growth and size of the plant seems very good! but there are some niggles that are bugging me.

Please can you take a look and see what you think!

thanks Soylent Green, I have checked the calibrations quite a few times in the recent past.

can I ask how strong your foliar feed mix is, and do you feed when the lights are on or off?

thanks Dude!

No you are correct that isn't too high, I'd say too low by the looks of her. She reminds me of a Dragon I have going in DWC right now - similar colour for a while and the same blemishes you have, I would try upping that feed brother, once I started to take my girl higher her colour improved and no more weird rust spots developing, I just had to wait for her to tell me. I too love the growth in hydro, they really do go for it  So yeah try upping you feed a little bit she if she improves that would be my best guess! :Sharing One:

Nice one, thanks for the help.
I think I did burn her a touch early on and that put me off upping them. What do ya rekon up 100, 200, 300?

I hope I don't screw her up to bad, I am keen to see how she turns out after being topped a few times!

I use EC brother not ppm so I'm not the best to advise, if you were working with EC I would up it by 0.2.

Hold up i'll just go run check my bluelab meter for the conversion........................................................................................................................

Okay you're at 700 total right now, up her to 800 today and check her after 24 hours to see if the ppm has gone up or down. That's like upping EC by 0.2 for me. If it is <800 tomorrow up it to 900 and check again the next day. If it's >800 take her back down to 700 and continue to monitor. This is like fine tuning on a car, take your time and see how she reacts - don't stress :)
She looks nice in the pictures just a little hungry and the topping does make for an interesting grow, be prepared for her to take a little longer than usual though, I topped an auto once and it slowed it down loads - but that was a 32oz soil cup and you already know the growth is superb in DWC

BAM Monster. Topped 3 times when young

Here is some pictures of my BAM from yesterday. I was out of the country for two weeks so left tending to her to a good friend. She seems to be ok still stretching. I am considering removing the tent due to height issues and dedicating a spare room to here.
She looks to have responded well to the aggressive topping. I think it has set her back a week or two, but the canopy and branching are crazy.
I am thinking if i remove the tent I will be able to spread her out a bit and get a better penetration of light to her.
Take a look.
