New Grower 2ND Grow Journal - Cream Caramel,White Widow & Northern Light

Hey Grateful thanks for the reply, and I did try to quick dry some using a toaster oven lol, I tried it last grow too with no avail but I don't learn my lessons very well. I noticed a few members making oil with it without drying so I might look more into that until the rest is dried and cured properly- which I might add that 1-3 month curing time is insane, for me at least till I have 100 plants on the back burner (slight exaggeration)

Hey Trap always a pleasure my friend, you think the WW is looking further along? The CC is supposed to be done already according to the seed banks website (which I don't usually go by) and a couple members saying theirs were done then as well, IDK about them but Idon't have amber yet, but I also don't have any amber on the WW which took almost 3 weeks longer than the CC last grow. I'm thinking about cutting one of them down, prob should be the WW since it's so damn small, that's what I cut two branches off of the other day and attempted to make something smokable, lol, oh well, patience is a virtue- I'm not very virtuous though it seems..
Thanks for checkin me out again

To my untrained eye, it just looked to have a little more maturity/color....what do I know? Looks swelled up.

I think with the oven technique, patience is of the utmost importance....just looking to remove moisture not ignite any burning...

Like curing jerky...super slow.

If you want to quick dry a sample here's how I do it

Cut the bud off then cut it up fine then place on a paper plate and cover with another paper plate clam shell style and sit that on top of a hot water heater or cable box leave it over night it'll be crispy dry the next day usually

Hey Sniper thanks for the reply, question, do you notice a huge decrease in potency, like non at all when you dry it like this, and also not doing any cure time? My attempts have left me with something less than functional, it smoked but I never felt anything from it.

Hey Pop thanks for stoppin by, if your referring to looks I can tell ya that they're soo much smaller than last grow, my only prob right now is I don't have anything to help me and not only are things seeming to take longer than last time they won't get me as far either, which means I'm gonna be stuck without meds again for damn near two months unless I somehow find a way to pay for it which gets costly. I can tell you I will never grow a photo again unless that's all I grow at the time, too much of a headache trying to keep two types on the proper light cycle, that and the damn bugs, the autos didn't get anything on them that I have seen yet. I am going to look more into what you've been making, I don't know anything about it yet but didn't wanna ask till I researched it myself, but lately I can't find anything on this site when I search for it, I keep having to go to other sites which seem to be working better, I don't like other sites :( Oh well, thanks again. I'm gonna go chop down the WW real early now, I still don't know how much of diff is made letting them amber up, but day 70 no amber prob means it needs least 3 more weeks I assume, IDK

I'm having difficulty deciding on what to do, which one to chop if any.. I know the CC is further along than the WW but no amber on either, Looking at the WW it still has clear trichs and is so small, I know it will get a little bigger, how much is uncertain, so do I chop the small one and sacrifice the extra I could have letting the CC get amber or chop the CC and let the WW fill out a little more. I know chopping either one really only leaves me with one plant I can count on since the other 3 are debatable. So which do I chop, or non giving me nothing for a couple more weeks, grr, I know I'm screwing myself either way really, in the end I'll lose potency and quantity, but between needing meds and ole girls b-day coming up next Wed the 21st I don't know which avenue to choose, Anyone... Anyone... That and I'm very impatient, only with things like this though, I have patience in so many other ways, just not in this department.. What to do??

Grr, I hate being indecisive, this is the most I've posted on my stuff in awhile, So below are pics from my last WW grow which I chopped at day 80, and that was early for her she only had a few amber trichs but I started cleansing (final flush) her too early cause I hadn't gotten my loupe yet to see the trichs, and then there are the pics from today day 70 which I'm still debating on what too do, actually just waiting patiently for someone to come by and tell me what I should do since I apparently can't make my own decisions very well in this matter. Whoa is me

You don't HAVE to do anything, and you certainly don't need to harvest a whole plant...just take the most mature branch you can find and make it last (hang dry it for a while prior to your GF's B-Day).

Let the rest continue....

Hey free yeah There notice able potency difference but if the quick dry sample gets you high the regular dry bud will get you fried in my experience
Don't know about long cure though when it's dry enough to burn it gets burnt

Before you chop take a sample mid from mid way up of the plant quick dry it and make that the first smoke of the day then you'll know if it needs longer or not
