Indoor 2nd grow. Mephisto Double Grape & Strawberry Nuggets.

Congrats on getting this far, but your double grape is not the typical DG...
Anemic growth for lack of something they obviously need....
Also being a minimalist in watering/feeding, but try to catch deficiencies early...
People gonna 'say' anything in their posts, but we have to glean the info that is pertinent to our own situations which are always different from plant to plant. When you have multiple plants of the same strain, it's a perfect time to pick one for testing what you think may make a difference. Wait 24 hours and you'll know if a + or -. One plant may teach you most of what you need to know....

:yeahthat: Def best to catch stuff early so u can make small tweaks to get it back on track! It takes time learning deficiencies tho I still have to ask for help! To me so many things can look like multiple deficiencies so tough to diagnose for me! Barely been growing over 2yrs so def not the most experienced!

Update post
Hey guys heres a little update post.
Having lots of issues this grow
Theyre about ~7 weeks old.
double grape is stunted.
I’m trying to get strawberry nuggets to rebound.
Theyre pretty burnt. Flushed them until i got some run off today. just water, couldnt get the ppm lower than 240, ph 6.4

i feel like the solo cups made them flower pretty early. Should i still be giving them veg nutes or switch them to flower?

how long should i wait after a flush to add nutes?

Just make it
I'd say this journal is due for an update:

This grow is about 10 weeks in.

I think not measuring PPM bit me in the arse and caused me to overfeed.

I ended up flushing them. Fed nutes again on the 19th around 850ppm. Will be doing another feeding soon at full strength.

they definitely got a little trim for this photoshoot lol.

I also think they flowered particularly early due to having them in solos for a bit too long.

Double Grape:
The Double Grape is definitely stunted, but getting super crystally, why should I do about this one?
I've still been watering them and giving them some of the leftover nute water that the Strawberry Nuggets got.

Tent of sadness:

Safe to say my first grow went a lot better than my second.
I made the mistake of not measuring my PPM during this grow. My tap water is already heavy and I think that's what caused it to burn.

I have noticed a lot less gnats after using the Mammoth Control a couple of times.

I think i’m going to be giving Coco a try for my next run.

What VPD range should I keep them at?

Week 12
Week 12:

This grow is on its final weeks.

I decided to purchase some PPM solution to test how accurate my PPM meter was.
It's a cheap $20-$30 meter and was only off about ~55PPM

Last feeding was on 5/4
1040PPM
Fed full dose of FF tiger bloom and big bloom.
Probably the last feeding before I start watering with only water and yucca extract.
(I'll be taking a look at the trichs soon)

Throughout most of this grow I used Mammoth Control to take care of my gnat problem. I think it definitely helped as I'm hardly seeing any gnats in the tent.

Hoping my third grow goes better than my second. I'll be changing my soil to Coco, so if any of you coco growers would be open to answering some questions please holler!

anyways;

Very easy trimming this round.

Curious what the yield outcome was? And if your starting a new grow?!

Hey @RootBound420!
Sorry I got discouraged from this grow and haven’t closed it out. I yielded ~2 ounces from this.
The smoke wasn’t too bad, just a little harsh. Still did the trick though. I already ran through this harvest and will be starting my next grow soon.
I’m going to be changing my nutes to a one-solution nute and growing in coco for my next grow.

I didnt take a picture when i harvested but i have some pictures of a nug.
