Hi everyone

I'm a noob to outdoor Auto growing and wanted to run by some of my current thoughts as to start dates and running a perpetual harvest throughout the summer.

I generally start my outdoor Light Dep of reg Photos in Mid May at my location and figured that if I wanted to run a perpetual harvest through the summer that I could germinate seeds from early April till mid June or maybe even as late as mid July ?

Provisionally I have 2nd April, 7th May, 11th June penciled in on my calendar as germination dates though I think I might be able to germinate as late as 16th July ??? as my season can run into October most years though I typically prefer to have all outdoor crops harvested by mid September.

I'm going to be growing in my regular medium of Canna Coco, what size pots do you like to use outdoors ?

I have a selection of:

Fast Buds, Mexican Airlines, West Coast OG and Tangie'Matic

Mephisto Genetics, Skystomper, Sour Stomper and Bubbly Cush

I'm hoping you can all chime in with your outdoor Auto experiences and help my get the best from my chosen genetics

Cheers

With autos no need the longest the take from seed to crop is a little more than 100 days. For some strains 60days is enough and everywhere in between. So if planting 2 every week until mid july you should be able to harvest at latest early october if it was the longer going strain.

Hey bud...45thN here...I start my photoperiod strain under lights on april 1st and they go in the ground June the first. Autos get started on may the 1st and in the ground june the first. Take a look in the stickies for a thread call "Maximizing outdoor autos"
Should be a ton of well suited info in there for you!

Thanks for the tag @islandgrower...no idea why, but it wasn't in my notices.

Cheers guys

I've skimmed through more then a few of the outdoor threads including the "Maximizing outdoor autos"
I've been running photos outdoors here using manual light dep for the last 4yrs, with 2 crops per season.
I'll be combining my experience and tips gleamed here to hopefully have my 1st batch of Autos germed indoors and growing outdoors in pots by mid May, while paying close attention to weather conditions and temps. If the weathers not up to good growing conditions for my early starts they'll be shifted to my light dep tents as and when needed. I flower outdoors in my back yard, my light dep tents are setup (with lights) in an outbuilding
