Will the reflector 192 really not be enough for 4 plants during flowering in a 4x4 space?
And is it true that you have to replace a few of the mars II diodes every 6 months?

I think it would depend on how big the plants are. If the are a smaller or medium size strain that you can fit under the light it should work but plants that would fill the tent may need more light.
 
Pretty sure scally420 grows 4 autos under a 192 on a perpetual rotation, and he grows some great autos.

Not sure why you think LEDs in Mars are destined to burn out as standard...they're an excellent light for the price.

I have had my Mars 1200 going on a year Well about 8 months now I've had my 144 by 5 reflector series going on two years and I also have a Mars 2 400 watt that I have had for about a year I haven't had any problems I posted some pics that I took yesterday that's my flower room with my blue dreams the one on the left is 5 foot 4 inches tall from the base of the soil my wife is 5 foot 4 and when she stands next to it it's about 6 inches taller than her or more that's just rough measuring
