Dunno what size carbon filter (came with fan)
Ozone generator for room tent is in
Fan controller
Digital timer

I'm wondering if I can put my carbon filter on a bucket then my fan attached to it vertical with ducting to cool tube then out. Since I don't trust my tent with weight ?
Idk how to mount my fan either or how to set it,it doesn't seem to have any brackets just these two screws
Do fans generate a lot of heat where I shouldn't even have it touching the tent?
And finally the fan since it dosent have any brackets..can I set it outside the tent and have it sit on the outside<

Hi there daddyfatsax, you can mount the fan outside the tent no problem, even suspend it on bungees to cut down on vibration/noise if stealth is a worry. You really need to have your carbon filter at the top of the tent but if you really can't mount it in the tent you could put it on the exhaust end out side the tent too although the fans do a better job of sucking through a cf than blowing through one it'll still work reasonably well! Extractor fans are self cooling so don't worry about that.

Personally I don't think you need the ozone generator, if you're growing in your home you really don't want that shit being pumped into it and the carbon filter should deal with the smell fine. It's your call but if you use it make sure to vent the tent for a good while before you go in.

Other than that good luck with your grow bro :peace:

Damn yea that makes sense ..so if I pur my carbon filter vertical along with my fan and push it through my tube and out my tent

I amended the pro mix mx with:
Kelp meal 3-6 cups/bail
Alfalfa meal 3-6 cups
Neem cake 2-3 cups
Gypsum- 3-6 cups
Worm castings- whole bag

Lol like if I put my filter on a bucket can I attach my fan directly to it so they both are vertical...or does the fan have to be horizontal

When i had a tiny cab, I had the filter on the floor, the fan ontop blowing down. and a tube connected from the sucking end of the fan to the out take hole in my cab.

It worked just fine (but both decent equipments)

I still have a reverse setup, but slightly different as my fan and filter are now on top of my (bigger cab .. not big enough to fit inside though ^_^)

Blowing down? See im talking about blowing up if anything ...but the best reason I heard was connect the fan to the filter cause if there was a leak ,it would be clean...and that's kinda smart or I'm kinda dumb but I like that,am I dumb?

You can attach your fan direct to the filter and put it all in a netting bag so you'll get better airflow round the filter than in a bucket!

I mean like a bucket flipped upside down..but alright that's perfect..I'll get pictures when my cool tube arrives
