Grow Room AfganCandylandistan. AS Candy Kush & (auto) WoS AKR

Hey whats up lovely people of AFN. Starting my first auto grow today. I had 2 photo grows experience prior to this grow. I only finished my second grow to harvest. That was yesterday.

So, I got some seeds from herbies auto site. Candy Kush Auto(auto seeds), and Dr Krippling's Krippleberry. The World of Seeds Afghan Kush Ryder was a freebie. Best freebie I could have asked for. One of them anyways.



So, I germ'd 1 Candy kush and 1 Afghan kush ryder in a slightly overly moist paper towel. Sandwiched between the paper towels the seeds were placed. 23 hours later a small taproot was exposed. :dance2:



I really wanted to grow the Krippleberry but, it is the summer. So, I figured it would be best to wait until after this grow to do the krippleB.


Im going to use the rest of my Organic Black and Gold .05 .00 .00 soil. It worked perfectly fine with my last grow. Next grow Im going with Dr organics HomeGrown POTing Soil.


Mixed in 25-30% perlite to the soil. Im using 1 gallon pots. Grow space is
Width = 29.5cm Hight = 29.5cm depth = 16cm

Ill come with pics and details of some minor modifications to my airflow.

Hopefully I wont disappoint when harvest time comes in. Im new and still learning =)

Whats up Neko! I just recently started an auto candy kush too and from everything I've read it shouldn't disappoint . I'm on my first auto grow as well but have several photo grows under my belt so hopefully everything goes according to plan. Anyway I'll be watching to see how yours turns out and maybe we'll be able to learn from each other's mistakes in the process (although hopefully we won't need to haha).

Whats up guys. Today is July 8th and I got one seedling fresh popped out the soil. The other is a no show so far. I expect these to pop above soil a little slower then last grow. I planted them when the tap root barely showed its face. I did this out of paranoia of damaging the tap root. Since this time I actually invested money into these seeds.

Which one popped you asked? Funny story. So, out of excitement I readily dropped one AKR and one CK seed into the paper towel. I distinctly remember that the candy kush seed was darker. So, when I forgot which seed was which. I just spotted the dark one to know that it was candy kush.

So, I would tell you wich one popped its head out, except Im not sure..... I got to excited and planted the seeds, and paid no attention to which seed went into which pot.........................:dunno:

So, all I can say is that one has popped lol. I'll be able to tell which one is which after they develop a bit. The Candy kush leaves go distinctly darker then the AKR. If I happen to get a pheno that has lighter leaves. Or vice versu. Im bonned. Unless I can identify and obvious difference in the smell. Which Im sure I can figure it out after I read up on the aromatic profiles these two strains carry.

Hey thanks for subing in man. Thanks again, I had such a hard time making the final decision.

Side note: I figured out which is which. The Candy Kush popped up about half a day after the AKR. How can I tell its the candy kush already you might say?
That seed shell dont lie, all you other brothers cant deny.....:no:.

Moving on lol. Extremely relieved that I know which is which now. really looking forward to this one. Its officially game on.

Forgot to add some info.

Lighting 4 25watt 6500k, 4 25 watt 2700k, and 4 14 watt 5000k CFL's

Im starting them under 50watts mixed spectrum each plant for the first week. Then to my normal 100 watts mixed spectrum 6500k/2700k. If my temps are good enough with the 200 watts total (6500k/2700k bulbs). Then Im going to add the 5000k's in as top or side lighting. I want to do side lighting if I have the room. If not, it will go as additional top lighting. Most likely during flower.

Oh and nutes I plan on using.
I like to keep it basic.

No I need to start one though just as a reference to look back on. Just been busy and kind of sketched about the idea of posted pics (not sure how secure things are and I've been told pics from phones all get stored with a location stamp on them). However I just broke 2 weeks on Wednesday and they appear to be growing healthy, the Candy Kush is def the largest and most promising so far based on looks and growth though.
