I just popped my 3 super expensive female Afghan Ryder seeds...

They were germinated until their white tails popped via paper towel method, then planted in party cups with drainage holes in the bottom (actually FDs method, a cup with no bottom in a cup with drainage holes - for easy transplanting). They've had one water feeding a couple days ago.

The initial planting, and first feeding was just plain RO water, PH'd to 6.5

As you can see in the individual shots, the first female is the picture of perfect health. The second seams to be refusing to grow a second set of serrated leaves for some reason, and has a weird coloration issue on the leaves. The last has some curvature and odd growth/shape of the serrated edges of the leaves in my opinion.

My question is, what am I doing wrong, how might I help these babies improve. Also, and quite importantly, I'd like any opinions on what to do now; my original plan was to use CS to convert one to male, to polinate a second plant, and keep the third to grow for the flowers - so I can actually taste the strain. So which one should I make male? Which should I make the seed producing female, and which the flower producing female? I suppose the seeds are of most importance, as they will be my future crops...

Any help at all is GREATLY appreciated!

they all lok good #2 onthe other hand is showing some posssible deficiancys, i'd say do to ph. with that said have you checked the Ph of your soil's run off, heres a calc chart to help.... (meening if you water in at 6.5 and 7.0 run's off)

Rough Calculation Guide:
Here's some good info on ph.....
If your runoff pH is higher than your starting pH, use this equation to determine your soil pH:*
Soil pH = Runoff pH + Difference

If your runoff pH is lower than your starting pH, us this equation:
Soil pH = Runoff pH - Difference.

For example, say your the starting pH of your solution before it goes in is 6.5 and the pH of your runoff is 7.0. The difference is +0.5, so using the above equation:
Soil pH = 7.0 + 0.5*
Soil pH = 7.5

If your starting pH is 6.5 and your runoff is 6.0, your difference is -0.5 and using the above equation:
Soil pH = 6.0 - 0.5
Soil pH = 5.5

Wow, thanks so much for that info!

Since this is recently watered, how can I adjust the ph without overwatering the plant? Do I just need to hope it makes it until it needs more water?

some time soon, you should be trans planting into your final pot I hope, befor you do so check the ph of what your planting into..if you water those cups you'll drown it,
