it sounds like a plan is coming together. I'm thinking get 2 400 watt mars II like you suggested. after a little more research that seems pretty solid and i think i can get a pair for around $400? Are the fans loud? any suggestions on where to order em from? i don't mind e-bay but it makes me a little nervous because of the record of it and because i don't really know who i'm getting it from and if it is even what it says it is. clearly i need a filter and a fan, again suggestions? i'd like something quite as well. lol sorry i just used to run down to the store a long time ago but now they don't have what i really need and the cost would be a whole lot more. i figure i'll grab a tent as well, probably do the 4x2x5 even though that seems kind of short to me since i'll probably need like a foot or two of space between the light and the girls? but i'll give it a go if you all think it's possible and since i don't think the auto's get as tall. it's strange feeling like a noob again

any idea about a co2 option? and i guess i'll order from DP seeds as they seem to be real popular and apparently turn out well and are hardy in case i'm not as good as i used to be with the girls it's been a while.
as for nutes, i always liked ff stuff what do you all work with for the auto's? it seems as though the auto's really don't want that much in the way of nutes since they are kind of sensitive to it? i think i saw a nice post from tang giving a feeding schedule although i would think each strain would vary. can you get pro mix in smaller packages? lol i never got anything less than a bale. i almost forgot about getting a ph meter... again suggestions? i think that should cover everything.

I'm really excited to get going again, it's been way too long for me and i feel overdue. I'm glad i have such a nice resource in this site available as well. again thanks a million i really do appreciate the assistance.

If you decide to go with the Mars you should just order directly from them (Mars-Hydro.com) or if you prefer eBay they have a store on there under seller "marshydro".

I would suggest you maybe start a new thread in the new growers forum to introduce yourself and to get some of your other questions answered, there tends to be a lot more traffic in that section so hopefully some more members will chime in.

Hi there Goober, I used to grow in a shorter tent and needed the extra height so I just thought I'd give you the link for the tent I'm using, Lighthouse Max 0.5m, it should easily fit in your space at 1m x 0.5m x 1.8m and give you the height you want (see my sig for the grow I'm doing in it). Very good quality tent btw as a bonus .

With reference to lights, I did a guide to how to choose the right one/two for you so as long as you are happy with the Mars (imho very good value lights) then don't worry about buying from ebay.
Check whoever you buy from has good feedback and all the other usual stuff but do remember to make each canna related purchase from ebay hidden so it won't show up on your profile or the companies feedback.
To give you a general idea of the noise levels from panels in this price bracket the 2 Vipars I run produce roughly the same level of noise as the 4" extractor fan running at half speed in my tent.
Don't worry about adding CO2 this grow bro, get the environment dialed in this grow before you fine tune it!

Go to "Purchase History" and on the right of each order is a blue button. Underneath is a drop down menu for "More Actions", click it and look for "Hide Order". Click it and you are done.

That also hides your username and feedback on the sellers website but do have a look through your account settings in case you didn't read those Terms of Service updates that default user accounts to different privacy settings each time you agree to them

I would look a multiple units bro as you will get better coverage.

Second that! Multiple lights are always better especially working with a bigger space like 4x4 or 5x5 in your case. If you spend a little money you can get 2 really good leds to fit that space with good results, if you op for cheaper Leds id say you need 3 maybe 4 depending on the coverage and a par output.
