Hi, virgin grower here on my first grow:D i had three germinated seeds but when i planted them only one started to grow , now after reaching the dizzying height of 1 inch it has stopped growing.
Not giving fertilizer and the 600w hps light is on 18/6.
Any thoughts about this? sorry week 2 i'm on.
Thanks in advance.

TOKE TILL YOU CHOKE !!

How long have the seeds been in soil? Does the one thats up look healthy? When ther that young they are formng a root structure and top growth will be slow for a while but don't worry once they start sending full leaves out they will start growing like crazy.

can you post a photo? How many leaves do they have?

awrite guys! thanks for the speedy reply. Namvet25- the seeds have been in the soil for 16 days, it looks quite healthy dark green in color.
Scot817- they have four leaves and I'll post a pict. of it.

PED, that guy looks quite happy to me. 16 days in the soil, how many since it broke the surface?

I wouldn't worry about it yet, just keep making sure you're giving it properly pH'd water and in no time, your little squirt will explode with growth. green karma to you and your babies! :dance2:

Hi "YouDontKnowMe" , shes been about an inch for over a week, she broke through the soil within a couple of days as expected but as I said the other 2 didn't surface at all.cheers m8

Just an observation, and I am far from an expert, in autoflowers. But most plants top growth, is equal to the amount of root growth. From the looks of the soil, it looks like you are only watering just around the seedling. Before I plant seeds, I start with fully moist soil, before even planting. The entire grow media is damp. Then I don't water again, until the plant needs it. It is usually at least a week, before I water again. During that time, as the area, of soil directly around the seedlings' roots gives up its' moisture, the seedling sends more energy to the roots, so it can search for the water. If it's needs are always met, without the roots having to search, the roots don't have to grow, so neither does the top of the plant. This is just a hypothesis, so I may be wrong. But to me it makes sense.
Hope this helps.

hi Ridgerunner, cheers for getting back to me,. i planted the seed into a large pot, do you think i shouldv put in small plant pot then pot up when she was bigger or does that not work, she has sprouted a wee bit, i think its not going to get any bigger cos shes been put straight into large pot.

You did rite putting it into a large pot autoflowers are best planted into their final containers  Did you germinate the seeds first? or sow them into the soil first?
Best advice for a newb i would say put the seed or seed's into some water for 1-2 days then put them into some tissue about 5layers thick on the top and bottom... Then 2-3 more days till the tap root is around 1/2 inch then poke a hole in the soil with a stick or pen and plant tap root down and lightley cover the top:peace: Si
