Today is day 10, they are growing fast.
Maybe it's just my eyes but they look light green not that dark green color.

That's a good thing that they growing fast, no better sign that they are healthy than that. It can take a bit for leaves to get to the deep green, and some varieties don't. Some are just lighter green, but every plant I know of fills green in as the tissues age and build more light sensing gear. I always love to see pics with fresh growth over old growth from the top.

left side Amnesia, right side OG Kush. Check the variation in each, and between each! I love that.

10000 shades of green.

yes, I see the uneven color, likely part of the light intensity thing,...plus, young leaves will darken as they mature,... Now that stem split at the base is new to me, but I suspect it's just "growing pains", nothing to sweat!

Well friends, today after the light went back on this is what I have to look at. Tips are yellow and brown with other spots noticeable. The problem I that was going away is coming back....gradually. I did water this am, small amount though, 1 total gallon across six pots. My soil was pretty dry,

Frustrated..

Do you think the digital reading is in line with the less accurate tester kits. Both small containers have 6ml of water. One has 4 drops of solution the other has 3. Directions are so vague, add 3 to 4 drops of solution....like pretty much add whatever amount makes you win the arguement unless you are like me and argue with yourself!!!

Just dropping a hint ,when we use these bagged soils alot of pests can enter the container of soil , what i have been doing is baking my soils, thus KILLING any little larve critters ,they actually are in the soil when we bring it home, then they hatch and eat at the roots ,mature then fly around the growroom go back to the soil and lay more eggs.NOW SEEK AND DESTOY THEM...bake your soil at 200 for 10 minutes and they are TOAST..oh yea .

Also i run two 315s they will reak havoc ,because of uv on young plants, if to close ,and you should wear long sleeves because of the UV RAYS..

Hey Geddy, thanks for the advice, yeap gonna clean my soil for now on. Glad to hear someone else is using these CMH's, right now my light is topped out...lol it's as far as away as possible, around 46" away. You said you had 2? What size grow area are you using? I'm doing some research right now I might go get a all red spectrum (small) LED for some supplemental lighting for the last 4 weeks. What do you think? How long have you been running then CMH's? Do you switch back and forth with the two bulbs. 3300k, 5500k I think where the options. I have always used HID's in the past with mh, and hps. My local shop said these cmh will blow away 600w hps, the supplemental red light spectrum lighting was my own idea.
Good luck keep me posted I'll do the same.
