I have a few books on growing and breeding cannabis (medical growers bible, breeders bible, ect..) but none of them have any up to date info on breeding with the Ruderalis gene. They do talk about selfing but not about colloidal silver. does anyone know of an up to date book I can get that will give me more info on autoflower breeding and making fem seeds?

You'll probably find more information here on AFN than in any book. Far as I know, auto breeding has not been covered extensively in any publications. Everything you need to know about CS you can find here: https://www.autoflower.org/f117/

I've been wanting to read cultivating exceptional cannabis by dj short, I'm not sure what all it covers but I know he talks a lot about breeding:thumbs:

thanks for all the info! I do utilize the information on this site but I do not have internet at my house and have to go outside for cell phone signal so I was hoping for a hard copy of a book so I can "study" while just sitting around my house being bored.

Got ya. You might want to start out with Robert Connell Clark's Marijuana Botany. While it doesn't deal specifically with autos it's a must read for any aspiring breeder. It covers all the basics and even though it was written in 1981, is probably still the most comprehensive study ever done of cannabis and it's breeding.
