Grow Mediums Anyone have roots come close to clogging tray and aquavalve? PotSocks?

I was looking at the pot socks. And it would be dead simple to make some out of landscape fabric. If roots do actually get out of the bottom of the pot even with the root control disks in use, then I'd do this for sure. Is this something that has happened to others and therefore this would be good to do?

I use gold disc from Autopot and don't have roots in the tray.
I place gold disc into tray, not into pot.

I switched to the pot sock this grow. I've used the disc over and over. Last run a couple of roots got through the old disc. I should have replaced them before the run.

I use the gold/copper root mat/disc in the pot and the pot sock. The pot has an airdome also. I took these photo's 15 minutes ago.

I am going to need some advice as I estimate my plant has three more weeks.
This pot is as light as a feather and I guess I am basically doing shallow water culture as it feels nothing is "wicking" up into the coco?!?
This is my third plant grown in the 3.9L pot with root control disc, pot sock and airdome and I never had a root peak out of the pot until this plant.

Interesting troubles you guys have...

I use cooper disc second time (two grows same disc) and my roots always stop when they hit disc. And disc is in the tray sitting in water. But roots never come out of pots.

I had one shipment of pot socks go missing. and I'm not going to see the second shipment for a while. So can't offer any experience. But man I'm surprised to see that much 'rogue' root coming out the of the bottom like that. it's impressive but also scary looking!

WOW! I've only used the disc. I'm using just the sock this run. Your roots look great even though I know you don't like them coming out like that.

Whoa those roots are crazy!!! You have some serious size and growth potential with those roots my friend!!! I don’t grow with autopots so I’m of no help, sorry. But that root porn is something else!

I'm going to end up putting the pot in a a bucket or something and DWC it for the remainder of it's life.
I think this current situation may be holding her back a bit.
