I think its time to start the flush man, and maybe go for more then four days...you want them fan leaves to yellow out some or the smoke will be very harsh. Save your nutes and let the plant take care of the rest.

Just my 2 cents tho...I am no expert in any way.

You definitely wanna get a trich scope, but from the look of those leaves, my guess is you got plenty of more time. Muddy has this thread about how to tell when it's time to harvest autos, and it's pretty informative. Those leaves say it's too soon.

Cheers Justinsane and Greenbandit, I will keep feeding for a bit and get a scope from somewhere. I just wonder if the buds will fatten up anymore so will go for weight and wait a little longer to find a scope. Im dying to sample a small bud now, have either of you grabbed a bit early? if so how did you dry it to sample?

If you keep on feeding them full strength nutes the leaves will stay green way longer then if you start your flush. So you cant just go by the look of the leaves.
Im pretty sure that his leaves will stay that green for as long as he is feeding them full strenght nutes, nut if he is to satrt the flush soon the leaves will start to go yellow over the next 7-10 days and then be ready for harvest.

Well I just cant seem to get my head around this ph and ppm problem. she is drinking around 3 to 4 litres a day the ph steadily increases and the ppm still going up and i'm sure she should be swelling up with love for me now.

I think it would be a good idea to check the PPM hourly to see how quickly it rises, i bet it happens in the first few hours, in which case you can adjust accordingly.

When we mix nutes and measure straight away it's never an accurate measurement.

They looked ready to flush in that pic you postsed with about 40% amber pistils.

Get a jeweller's loupe for the trichs, cheap and effective, 30x will do but more is better.

I've oven-dried test buds with success many times.

I put a few buds on some aluminium foiland put at middle-height in oven, at 100 degrees C (212F) for 30 mins.

Have you ever tried the micro owen with wet paper towels mate? In my book that is sooo much better then oven dried bud.
