Hey everyone! Fellow grower here and I just picked up some Autocobs so I want to document my grow here.
The plants I'm running will be Apollo 11s F4 from Bodhi.
Substrate will be 70% coco/30% perlite.
For containers I'm thinking 2gal hempies or 3.9gal Autopots. I have 8 clones that I'll be running so if I went with the Autopots, I would only run 4 plants, unless I put 2 plants in each 3.9gal container. I'm still undecided about this. One thing that is for sure is that I will be running a scrog.
Anyways, the grow will be inside of a 20"x42"x65" cab and will be lit with 3 55w Autocobs to start with. I may add or subtract one more if need be.
I'm hoping to get this grow started Easter weekend as long as everything goes well.
Here's a few pics...because a log without pics is boring, lol.
The girls (8 clones @ 2wks veg today). The wonky leaf growth is because the clones were taken during flowering:

The cab. The center wall will be removed prior to the grow.

By all means, if you have any comments, ideas, ect...please feel free to post ;)

Okay, so I installed an Autocob in the cloning cab tonight.
Let the fun begin :)

The light definitely appears to be "cripser" or rather more cleaner. It's hard to describe...
Best way to describe I guess would be to look at the shadows. The shadows cast from the plants from the panel look fuzzy whereas the ones from the COB look more defined? Does that make sense?
Anyways, it's hung as high as can be, 28" from the top of the plants.
My plan is to cull 4 of the clones and 3 of the seedlings just to open it up a little bit in there.

I like the look of it even more that I know it is a true full spectrum light. The plants will thrive now. Is that 3 cobs in there now? What was the blurple leds wattage?

Yeah, I definitely like it more as well. The color reminds me of a morning sun shining on plants outside.
Just 1 of them for now. The led was a Vipar 450 being run on Veg only when the above pic was taken. I tried running on both Veg and Bloom (200w) at the same time but it was too much for the seedlings at the same distance the Autocob is now @ 28".

So I culled a few and now have 4 Apollo 11s, HSO Chocolate Mint and Samsara Sweet Black Angel in there. It'll be interesting to see how the seedlings respond because my 200w true led was putting a hurting on them.
