New Grower Autoflower Harvest World Record Competition.

i believe there is a lot of false information circulating the web regarding the yielding potential of AF plants. this is why i suggest creating a thread for this competition to show off this breed's capability in yielding.

If a mod agrees with me, then make an announcement and sticky the thread.

1. 1 post per harvest
2. must include pictures, specifically a harvest from a single plant on a scale if possible
3. must describe the setup in great detail, seed source & strain, time from seed to harvest, extra techniques incorporated.

if you want to discuss this idea, then create another discussion thread and pm me the link please so i can participate.

I hope this gains momentum...so we can really show-off the power of autoflowers and differentiate better genetics from different seed banks..also this will urge seed banks to put more effort into selecting the absolute best genetics.

My own opinion is that I don`t really care what the t`internet haters say, let them say what they like(mugs!). That`s why i came here and made it my `home`! I`ve been smoking for nearly 3 decades, first `tried` growing over 20 years ago(bag seed and sensi`s Super skunk), started again a couple of years ago! I`ve seen some amazing herb/Medicine on this sight, and truly humungous yields. If `The powers that be`, want to go ahead with it, then fine, but loads of us(well me )), just like being part of a community(and may not be so keen on shouting about it!)...All the facts are here, on-site already(just gotta search for it a bit. Anyhoo, I guess if it gets the nod, then I`ll go with it.......:smokebuds:

i've observed and analyzed human beings for many years now, and obviously it's just their nature to do competition.

but can't we just delight in growing these beautiful plants without putting out the ruler to measure who has the longest and biggest...?

its just for fun, for the entertainment of members of the community of growers worldwide....it doesn't come in the way of relaxing or enjoying the smoke....in my very primitive perspective, weight is the only measure we have of how autoflowers have come in terms of yield to photoperiods.

Everyone wants a big yield I think : )

But the trials of growing and your needs for a specific grow.. sativa, indica, short, tall, very high thc, medium thc, cbd levels, soil/hydro, tent size, fast flowering or super Auto's, odour levels, keeping to a landrace if important, ditching strains that have worked for you many times before, indoor/greenhouse/guerilla outdoor are going to have a big impact on your strain choices as much as yield. Stealth, type of buzz and your own faves are important too.

Yield is merely 1 aspect.

4 ounces of unpleasant weak smoke or 1 ounce of super tasty mind blowing herbs, more to it than weight and bulk. I know what I would have, gimme the ounce !

I think it would have to be strain dependent. My himalayan blue diesel only gets to about 12"-16" tall but my blue mystic is 24"+ tall .
