New Grower Autoflower Scrog CFL is this right?

They look wonderful Jim! Will they swell more? It is a shot in the dark brother, they should. The trich coverage looks real nice so if you have a magnifying glass or a good macro on your camera keep an eye on the trichs. That is where your quality is going to be. The plants look wonderful though, great work! Now it is just up to the plant to determine when they are ready to be harvested, it appears you are doing everything right.

Get your light right down on them!!! Place your hand under the light and if you cant keep it there, back it off a bit. I do believe you said in a previous post you are using cfl. Close as you can without burning em. Push the base nutes and PK on em, they can take more, the leaf tips aren't even burnt yet. Push em in flower!!! They not only need it, but they will love it!! But go up slow, like 1-2 ml per L and see where that gets you. I grow in soil and by the time mine hit flower, the tips are just getting scorched!!! Thats what you are looking for!!

Thanks so much for the advice guys! I will start keeping an eye on those trichs now, I'm looking for more of a sativa effect from the smoke so at what percentage should I start to flush? Am I right to be wanting the trichs milky and not amber?

Briman, thanks for tip regarding the nutes! I'll step things up now and also bring those lights down some more! Am I wanting just the tips to be burning?? Thought that was stressful for the autos?

I really appreciate all the advice and will put it into practice! Thanks again and will keep you all updated on the progress.

Hi all,
Really been upping the nutes as advised and the ladies are loving it as Briman said they would! I would really appreciate some feedback as to what the trichs should look like to get a sativa smoke from my ladies?

Also my humidity is sitting around 60% and I know this is slightly high for flowering but will this cause any mauld?

Thanks in advance everyone!

Hi NapsterJim

I would really appreciate some feedback as to what the trichs should look like to get a sativa smoke from my ladies?
Mostly clear with a few cloudy trichs will give you a more "heady" high rather than cloudy and amber trichs which will usually give you a more body (and heavy) high.

Also my humidity is sitting around 60% and I know this is slightly high for flowering but will this cause any mauld?

Ideally your humidity would be lower at flowering (around 30%) but as far as i know, mould usually doesnt occur below 70% RH.

All the best

Blue ^_^

Thanks Blue! Appreciate your feedback and advice! As I don't have a magnifying glass what would be the next best way to judge harvest? I have tried to use my camera but can't quite see if the trichs are clear or cloudy. In any case I have started to flush today.

What are your thoughts on flushing as there are so many different opinions on the matter! A lot say the taste and smell comes down to the curing process?

Again I would appreciate any advice or feedback!

Thanks!

Muddy has a sticky on judging harvest time, i believe in the new growers section of the forum. I follow his guide and have had really great success. Get a good handheld microscope so you can check trichs, that is, IMO, the best way to judge and replicate harvest to your likes.
