One of the reviews says "It quietly rotates a few inches every hour or so." I think youd want at least 1 rotation / day, Id think 4 complete rotations / day would be about ideal tho. Anyone know if there is something else similar to this available at a reasonable cost, that would hold more weight, maybe up to 100lbs? Its cheap enough at least, maybe someone could buy one and give it a go and see how it works....

Get a rotating Christmas tree stand. They rotate slowly but constantly. They can hold a couple heavy plants too!

I know its not too hard to rotate your plant manually, but this might significantly increase bud development with a light angled from the side. Just an idea, would be interesting to try.

I think something like this would work great for single plant grows in small tents/closets. Has anyone used something similar to this or is there a better product available that does the same thing, maybe not battery operated?

I still say my idea is better xD When you think of it the faster you go the better because you can cover more light with a fan or something then you could do if the plant was revolving! The fan is not going to be going as fast as the time it takes for the light to travel to the plant so in theory... :drool:

Im going to try this someday... or it could just be a spliff dream... We will see
