Auto Seeds Autoseeds - Purple Stilton - Frogster Grow - 2019 Grow Battle

This will be my Journal for the "Autoseeds" Purple Stilton - Frogster Grow.

A big thank you to Autoseeds for providing the test seed

This is one of four plants I will be growing in the 2019 Round-1 Grow Battles.

The "Purple Stilton" will be sharing a tent with the 3 other plants also entered into the 2019 grow battles.

The seed was placed into a shot glass for a soak on the 18 Jan 2019

The seed has cracked and is ready to be planted into a starter pot, this will be completed tomorrow.

For this grow I have made a few upgrades to my standard tent setup, I am still finalising the wiring and control system (photo to follow on completion - tomorrow), but will consist of the following:-

Update

I have just about finished the set up of the tent and systems that are going to be used in this grow.

Not installed all 8 cobs yet, as they are not required for seedling growth.

The system has been tested and appears to run fine.

Tent Temp & Rh are holding true, so time to pot up the seeds that have been soaking into starter pots and get them in the tent.

Second (Backup Seed) sown directly in soil today

First seed popped her head but not looking as I would like, hence seed number 2 sown.

Update

Following on from the above post....

Took a closer look at the failed germination of the 1st Purple Stilton seed.

The environment is perfect for germination, so I had a little dig to take a look...

Tap root produced, started to grow.... and then.... died.

Another has already been sown to replace her (as recorded), but still not sure why this one failed

Weird, hard that happen but not with autoseeds. I for have one not germ...

Today live are still getting going. It's gonna be a day full of pain for me ar I gotta harvest with one hand and set top with one hand

Wait... hold on, I did have that happen with an autoseeds... I forget which one now... crap. @Frogster I did have that happen with an autoseeds... I did have 2 autoseeds not sprout. A hijack i got as a freebie and a sweet cbd auto. But I blamed those on really bad methods of germination
