I haven't found any grows with this light, I went ahead and bought it anyway.. lifetime warranty from a good company had me sold.. they say it will outgrow any led with same wattage and flowers a 2.5x2.5 area (if I remember correctly) I'm in a 2x2 tent so this should be an awesome experiment on a light that isn't talked about much. I know mars led is cheaper and had good results but I wanna see if this company knows what it's talking about, they are based in Colorado so I'm guessing they are pretty dam good with spectrums and all that.. stay tuned people and let me know if you have one

my 200 is coming ups tomorrow am. I run 2 lights in a closet over 2 plants. I had a clw 220 and it was good so I bought another one. The first one crapped out on me so I ordered another because the one that works grows great pot. Then I got to looking around so I cancelled the order and ordered the Blackdog 200 to cover my other plant. Looks reallyt good on paper. Black dog has been around a long time and was always kind of a crazy guy, but now his lights look really good. He lists his light by draw rather than led watts which make the others look a little silly. Yeah, 2x2. that's what I compute for each plant. I know I can grow 5 plants under 1000w mh/hps, so that's about 200w per plant. Funny thing about my clw, it just stopped flowering after about a year or less, but the other one grows great pot. So the clw220 is about 165w, so if this black dog gives me 200w I should be shtting in high cotton.
That's awesome autogogo, are you going to do a journal at all? I already have it hanging in my tent just don't have anything going on yet, I have 3 fastbuds strains lsd fastberry and girl scouts. I also have like 5 freebie autoflowers and a 5 pack of narco purps. Can't wait to get it going.
no, no jounal, but I have the clw220 over one plant and the black dog will be over the other so at least I will be able to do a side by side. The seed it is going over was planted yesterday so tomorrow the light, maybe wed or tues a sprout. I only grow one strain, and it's not the most potent, but I like it becuase it has the right mix of indica and sativa and if I don't smoke too much won't pin me. I probably only need one plant but I want more than enough. When I had 2 lights going I could take a few weeks off between grows and let everything go dark. Trying to hit that point in midsummer but never seem to get there till the dead of winter.
flowa, Just got it. Man is it quality. Very noisey, but very cool running. Light is whiter than I thought it would be. Very pleasant. Man, for a one plant per light guy like me this is the top and end of the line. Now I can't wait for my other clw to crap out. So I have 200w over one plant. Same as 1000w over 5 plants, only the plant is directly sitting right under the sweet spot. Now anybody can grow pot if they want to spend $500 to grow one plant. No takers? Oh well, I'll enjoy my one plant all by myself.
Lol hell ya! that's the only downside for me, the fans are kinda loud even when the tent is closed you can hear those fans blasting! I actually just messaged them and am thinking of returning it

my blackdog seed sprouted today. Exactly one week to the day later than the one under the clw. Hard to believe when I look over at the clw that my blackdog seed will be that nice in a week. Everything, the containers, the soil, the strain are exactly identical. Like I say one is a week ahead, but other than that the only difference is the light. I don't know what more I can tell you unless one starts outperforming the other, and to be fair, I would expect the blackdog to outperform for $150 more and about 35 more watts.

Sooo.. I messaged them they will exchange the fans with silent ones but they want me to send it back so I can be without a light what a joke.. I'm waiting on their reply I asked if they can just send me one with updated fans and I'll send mine back I mean wtf I didn't pay 5x more $$$$ for shitty service. Oh the updated fans will be out next month not even available yet.
