New Grower Blackstar 180w ... ?

Light bleaching starts at the center of the leaf and works out toward the edges. It also starts on the top most leaves and works downward. It will show as a solid yellow/white color, including the veins.

That looks more like a nutrient/lockout issue. Post up some pictures in natural light so we can see the true color of the leaves. Also, what is your soil, what, if anything have your feed them, at what strength and how often?

The soil is Organic Lamberts mixed 50/50 w/ perlite. Added 2 teaspoons of Osmacote Plus to 3 gal of soil mix then layered in pots. Mix also contains several tablespoons of mykos in each pot. Bigger pots seemed to like it but the root pouches didn't. A shaft of 75% perlite/25% Lamberts, no nutes was placed in the middle of each pot. The smaller pots got a smaller diameter shaft. Bigger two pots look pretty healthy. I am using spring water that comes from the ground about 5 miles from the Dolmite quarry ... it grows plants well outdoors, soil pH is 6.8 so it can't be all bad ... I gave them 1/2 tsp of Epsom salts when I first saw the problem almost immediately after sprouting ... they actually looked a little better later today ... this setup should not be undertaken w/ less than 5 feet of head room ... Will they have any problem flowering under a Blackstar 180 HO veg/clone ? It has UV and IR ... I don't think I'll have another opportunity to post photos of this grow ... thanks Muddy ...

Could someone please look at the photos in post #8 and give me your opinion of what is going on w/ the plant in the front left corner ... I have another Auto Blue Mystic grow started (soil+perlite w/ no nutes) and I'd like to know how to fix the problem if it occurs again ... Thank you ...
:smokebuds:

i have three blackstar's all flowering models, one is a chrome, it has to be run higher than the flowering model's, yours being high output for veg/
clone may also have to be run higher than the flowering models? muddy has been running blackstars a lot longer than me, and i think his are flowering models? muddy helped me out a lot! listen to what he says mate! and you will be fine.:2cents: keep it green!
