Hey guys, I'm just creating the thread for my new grow and will attach some photos later today. Thought I'd start getting this up and running and fill you guys in on what's happening.
So the 1.6m tent turned out to be a 1.2m tent which is in no way small, but it's less space than I expected. Turns out my friend misinformed me but that's all good - moving on.
The new plan is to grow another single plant instead of two, my first lady was begging for more space in the 0.8m tent so I think this could be the perfect size for one monster.
I will be using one MS0006 unit to start her off/veg her to a decent size then add the second unit towards the end of veg/start of flowering. Hopefully by this time I will have upgraded the two middle modules on each unit with Rebels for extra flower power. I don't think I could get away with using the 600w hps with two leds in the one tent now so the Rebels seem to be the obvious choice.
I'm really excited to get another practise run at DWC before I take on a bigger set up and also really excited to see if I can top my last yield! I'll still have one seed for back up in case I manage to f*** things up
So yeah, pictures and technical info this evening..gotta go construct a whole set up now

If there's one thing I can vouch for it's the GN Leds bro, I've never grown with anything else and most likely never will. You should treat yourself for Christmas and put the order in I'm in no way experienced at DWC but if there's anything I can help you with during your first journey don't hesitate to give me a shout!

Hey guys Sorry for the lack updates just been having too much chilling time over xmas! I finally stopped being lazy and set up the room today so I've got a few pics of the new tent and stuff. Tomorrow I will soak some clay pebbles, clean/calibrate my meters and buckets and pop my seed into soak. I'm gonna be using a root riot cube this time around - I'm assuming it's the same process as with rockwool? If anyone wants to jump in on that topic please do so! Anyway I hope everyone had a great festive season and I'm looking forward to all the beauties that will be harvested in 2014! Let's make it a good one.

Just in case anybody wanted a clear image of how I set up my extraction..Maybe there's an easier way but I just mimicked what I did in my first tent, seemed to work fine

Using a side window to feed the cable for the circulation fan and the tubing from the air pump:

Welcome, that's really one of the best thing to have is a tent I bought a tent 36 by 26 by 48 something like that it was a gorilla tent and they work amazing easy to set up everything..

It's very easy to over complicate things with the wide array of techniques and opinions out there, I try my best to keep things simple (within reason) and only follow advice from people who back up their claims - which is why I love AFN so much, documentation, reviews, journals - what more do you need? Everything I learned about growing is from great members at AFN. I wish I lived in a place where cultivation wasn't a crime, but I'll have to make do for now
