Hi to everyone..New to Led technology..I will be sharing my grow experience with you..These are 2 Blue mystic(Automatic from Nirvana seeds). The girls are 14 days old today. They have been under the pro grow260X for 11 days.First 3 days, cfl's were used.No Nutrients used as the soil supports the plants for 2 months.I might use bio-bizz bloom in a limited dosage towards the last 3-4 weeks..I was misting under the lights and after a while i noticed white splashes like it was bleached..I since then moved the light slightly higher..Will bleaching stunt the plants badly?and do they look ok for 14 days in?Thanks to everyone in advance..

Auto Blue Mystic w/ a Pro Grow 260x should give you a real nice crop. Your plants are a little small at 2 weeks but I have no doubt they'll do fine. My last two grows have been Nirvana's Auto Blue Mystic ... a hardy plant, good producer, damned fine weed after a proper cure. Bleaching will stunt the growth but as long as you caught it quickly it should be no big deal ... What type soil and how high is your light? Here is my current grow after 2 weeks, first week w/ low power flowering UFO, 2nd week w/ 160 watts of daylight CFL added ... I'm looking forward to watching your grow. There are many fine growers here that will help you through your grow for best results. Auto Green Karma sent ...

Welcome to AFN and the New Growers forum. I'm not seeing any signs of bleaching in your pictures. Bleaching will start at the center of the leaves and work out toward the edges, turning a light yellow, almost white color. I would suggest your set your light at about 20" above the plants and raise or lower it to keep your node spacing, the space between the leaf sets, at about 1". Once they go into full flower you will be able to set it lower. The fact that you say your soil will support the plants for 2 months suggests that your soil has slow release nutrients. These are not recommended for growing autos and have the potential to cause some issues. As others have asked, what brand of soil is it?

Hi muddy,Thank you for the welcome..Its a homemade mix i bought at the flower shop. The man said it can feed the plant up to 2 months but i can light feed it nutrients after a month..Is there some thing i can do about this or is it too late?I will find out tomorrow if the soil is slow nutrient release.Led is 60cm away from the girls now which is over 20".

Slow release nutes aren't always bad,it's just a matter if how rich or "hot" your soil is and whether or not it's properly buffered to maintain pH while those nutes dissolve and activate.

Soils like miracle grow scorch plant roots because autos are usually light feeders their first few weeks, they can't handle hot soil

I hear you mate..I think they are doing ok..Any opinions on how the ladies look to you guys? Are the white splotches anything to worry about? i have no ph reading as a ph reader was delayed to get to me..I leave tap water to sit out for 24 hours and that's all...

what kind of LED grow light is that? just from visual it seems like way to much of a blue spectrum. IS that a aquarium light?
