Hello gents!
As some of you know I am a firm believer in LED/autoflower setups as they are perfect for each other height and par output per plant. I personally have a decent setup in a closet and would love people to bring their led room design questions and plans here so that we can as a collective help each other to get setup without breaking the bank at the same time. I will be posting as my creation changes in the next few months and would love to help other led hopefulls that just haven't taken the plunge due to all the misinformation out there. So come on guys let's ditch the HID an go green with LED!

Can't afford em or I would have a couple Mother ships by now... Definitely interested to see how the newer ones are performing for when I do have the cash... What brand do you get for your LED panels TsNinja?

This is my 2nd led, I don't like it either. I have the spectra 290led & have had problems w/ bleaching (turned my plants white) & then they die. My 1st lite he claimed had a par issue but the 2nd redigned one isn't any better. I really like the idea behind led's, 50,000+ hrs, 90% asorbable lite, & the fact they run much cooler. Great technoligy, I see everyone else w/ these great looking plants. Wish I could.

There is your main problem right there is the panel choice. Using one large led panel in general as opposed to a few smaller ones is a big no no with LEDs unless your cloning. The reason is canopy control. I dare you to try and control more than six plants under the same light to behave and not be huge height differences. Autos in general are made to be grown in a sea of green method under led to the point that if it's in a 2gallon pot it's not going to be able to vary as much as 6 plants in even 3-5 gallon pots due to pheno types. I'm of the school of opinion that more plants shorter with more intense light per plant kills hid systems per the electricity used and the quality of the buds themselves. I ripped some heat burnt purple jems and it was by far the highest I've gotten since I smokedthe first time. I'm tuning in my nutrients but I have the lights down now. 6 2gallon smart pots under a 240w led in organic soil is the way to go for me personally an is it's limit. I personally use blackstar as others mentioned and have seen the same or in some cases better results compared to panels 2-3 times the rate they are. This is because they claim crazy spectrums that are garbage for plants or finned heatsinks which are a joke when you have a flat piece of aluminum that they are already attached to with multiple pc fans in the light. You should look into getting one 240w blackstar for around 250-280 shipped and see the results before you haul off and purchase multiple panels. Oh and for everyone I get no money and have no affiliation to the blackstar lineup. I did months and months of research and use my education as an optics major to analyze the components of each to compare them apples to apples and hands down price per watt blackstar blows them all out of the water.

How close are your lights that are bleaching? That's your issue is they are far too close.

Ease up TS I am just asking, I appreciate your info I have heard good things about the Blackstar products but bad things about their customer service...? I only mentioned the UFO because it's the only one I've seen perform well in person, and I sure ain't going to rush off and buy crap equipment, that's why I'm asking these questions...

So TSN, are you saying the lower watt UFO line is a good one even when compared to the Blackstar? Or is it still not worth it ya think?
Glad you had a good experience with CS at Blackstar, Menaice...

Yah if you get issues call victor and he will square up with you. Most people complaining are those that expect to get parts or replacement the next day like overnight shipping is free or something. I'm 3/3 good panels and the proof is in the pudding for me..... Mmmmmmm bud pudding. Might have to make that happen :p

Nice thanks for dropping a name, it's always nice to say someone referred you when it's a first time customer situation...
Aslo I can't remember where, but I saw on AFN that someone got ratted on by a sales rep at Blackstar, hoping it was just a fluke as it seems it is...
