Lighting Bunnys HS1 Closet. 2x HS1 1x ABBK 1x HBSS

HBSS came in at 94.5 dry. Pretty good(considering mould) BBK should be around the same. So from my calcs almost the same performance per watt as the MS 0006.(0006 does have the edge on density but plant health and flower quality does look better under HS1). With the newer lights the closet is totally silent now and Trichrome production does look insane especially on the Kush! Also worth noting I could cover a larger area with the two HS1 and probably had too many Lumens in a tight space !

Need another couple of runs to draw conclusions. Kush is beautifully bejewelled ! Another factor is that only the top of the closet had light, plants were squatter and less foliated under 0006 so penetration was better. I wishI could take advantage of side lighting in a bigger space! Will need to defoliate more in future I think and cut away more pop corn. Laters

I don't think you need 4 HS1 lights in 1.2 sq If you want to be efficient. To take best advantage of any light, Light the plant from an angle to the side like TaNg.you could also veg at the same time.
Lighting head toe also gets the most from a plant and Is Easier with HS1. I think the 0006 grows squatter denser plants. My Hs1 grown plants are taller and healthier and I got about the same yield. I'm certain I would be getting more in a larger space with the same lights. big powerful LED rigs used from directly above can cover more ground but with less efficiency and accuracy.Im just glad to say good buy to those noisy fans this cabinet is super stealth! I wish I could use my HS1's in a 1.2 sq Space so I could be more efficient and productive![emoji3]Good luck with what ever system you choose Dazed.

I really do have a soft spot for GN, their Ms was amazing, great customer service and communication plus they are a UK company which I like. I will have to see what my budget is and what space I have to use but I appreciate your honesty and review on this mate. Do you have any pics of trimmed/dried flowers yet?! :pass:

Coming soon.

Nice Yield Bunny and well done on this grow. I honestly have to say from my experience using the HS1 over the last year i dont think you would increase your yield by moving the same amount of units into a bigger space. I think your yield was good because you had such a small space which allowed for the light source to be more efficient by being having more reflection. Just my thoughts. Looking froward to more grows from you.
