Ginger again - people help. I've been told to wait til 2nd week. I'm on day 12 since I potted it and day 9 since it has been above surface. SHOULD I BE USING CANNA A + B BY NOW? (Ps I saved my baby to anyone who knows lol)

IS THIS OK FOR DAY 9/12???? Loool

Thank you in advanced!!!!!!

Thankyou. I literally gave em 1ml to a litre of canna a and b so 1ml a and 1ml b to a 1 litre bottle of ph water at like 5.8 -

I feed like this every time I water now?

Thankyou again

Hi :Sharing One:you should been given them feed for day one,as coco does have any,i start my coco of with an EC 0.7 form seeds, work your way up,puls i use drip clean too stop the salt in the coco,my girls are all on an ec 0.8 and a week old today,i be around :Sharing One:Peace Kudo.jpg

Quick question. Hope this is read.

do I / can I foliar spray them canna a and b?

Or or should I not bother?

also bottom leaves gone slight slight slight yellow or so it seems under the LED.

This may be a stupid question but do I need to feed them more than 1ml to a litre each? I have two.

What does the manufacturer say about when to feed and what to feed. I'd follow their chart, but I would start with a1/4 of what they say for sprouts/clones and work your way up from there. Slowly. If they do well with a 1/4 and show good growth over a week maybe two then I'd go up to 1/2 strength sprout/clone nutes. And then when you go to veg nutes you maybeable to start with 1/2. And again work your way up. Til bloom nutes. Same thing. Start with what they like and increase from there. Coco like to hold cal. And has a thing for mag too. Watch your ph closely. Keep it in the range already stated.
Hope that helps. Sorry for the wait.

not sure if you got a answer here buddy..

but i`ve done them both..not feeding b4 2 week in and feeding from the start.

as i learned feeding from the start (lightly ofc) will benefit them more and most of all dont hurt the buffer thats already in the coco (using canna pluss)

it also helps regulate the PH in the coco..

Hi Gingerbang, I'm a canna user and thought i'd throw my experiences in.

Exactly 1ml of Both cocoA AND cocoB in my water (which is hard at about 0.6 ec) will leave my water with an EC of around 1.5

This is about right for a 16-20 inch high plant still with a good 3-4 weeks growth behind it.

You'll get to the point where you are reading your plant to asses whether it's all good. (It sounds more complicated than it is)

You want nice lush but not light green leaves that are laying out flat or reaching to the sky. If they are pale, then they need more food.

If they are burning at the tips (not the very very very edge of the tip - that can sometimes look burning when its not - you'll see a couple of mm of yellow/brown) then the feed has been a bit strong.

Something i've had success with is finding a strength that they are happy with and then every watering go up by 0.1 EC to see where the burn starts, and when it does, back down a couple of points and give it a couple of waterings like that and then start going up again. :) it's fiddly but gets good results and teaches you to read the plant.

Another tip for A and B i could offer is to measure them out precisely. I've tried to be ham handed about it and just throw in 2ml(ish) of both A and B straight from the bottle.

This slight imbalance has given my girl N poisioning early on. (Dark leaves with down claw tip and rolling in leaves)

Just use a pipette to measure and you'll be golden.
Water to a decent amount of run off to keep the coco nice.

Blue ^_^
