Are you supposed to make your solution of water with nutes then ph balance it and let it sit for a few days and see if it stabilizes at 5.8ish then water your plant?

Hey, Dude :)
I use well water, and just don't let it sit after mixing and checking pH. I've heard of growers who might let it sit overnight or for a day, but I know if I mix a gallon of nutes, and it sits for 3-4 days, its PukeWorthy!! :coffee2:
What nutes are you going with?
:pass:

Well i have heard good things about the flora nova series but money really isnt an option if i meet a good sales person lol. On youtube that grow pot cheaply gives out alot of advice but im mainly using your notes for the most part.

He said let it sit for a few days to sing how far up in ph it swings when he added ph up. The experiment is to let it swing up in ph while its in the coco but if u do the right ph at 5.8 and r watering up to two - three times a day whats the point if all this. I thought id ask u guys if this is a good idea/experiment.

Maybe you should check out Advanced Nutrients coco products? they are specifically made for coco grows, and will stabilize the pH to around 5.8 for many days. I like them alot. I only use sensi coco A+B flower/bloom and something called voodoo juice and big bud, that's it. So far i have great success with that

do you guys follow the exact directions on the bottle of an or do you lower the dosage?
It varies for me, depending on what strain(s) I'm running and whether they're photos or autos. With photos, I'll stay pretty close to the nute recommendations, but rarely go over 3/4 strength. For autos, never over 2/3 strength, and 1/2 strength is normal :)
These past couple runs, I've been experimenting with using a slightly modified version of TaNg's AN feeding schedule for autos- but I used it on a photo run too lolol Just increased the base nutes accordingly. The results are Excellent!! And, it works really well with a coco/drip setup. Since it DOES work so well, I've eliminated 4 of the additives from my schedule WITH NO REDUCTION IN AVERAGE YIELD....
There. I said it... it's true...... lololol

Advanced nutes is the waximus realm this guy knows his shit. I may just save the flora nova series for my outdoor tomatoes and make the big plunge into an. Im just worried im paying for brands tho. Does it stabilize to 5.8 in the coco for awhile not just when u mix it up. Waximus do u recomend any other an bottles other than the ones youve told me about before on the other thread?

Since getting some experience under my belt with AN, I've noticed several things while using coco/drip:
1. I rarely pH my solution anymore- just check it once in a while, to keep my pH meter from drying out lolol
2. I have never had a pH issue in my grows since using the AN products in coco/drip. Sounds cliche, but truth is..It just works :)
3. I currently use (regularly, per schedule) Sensi Grow and Bloom A&B for coco, Big Bud coco, B52, Voodoo Juice, and Carboload. I use, as needed/not always, Bud Factor X and Overdrive, too. I also recommend a calmag (I use Botanicare calmag+, or ANs cal mag stuff, if the rep comps me lolol) and, if you're doing a drip setup, Drip Clean from H&G- it keeps things from gumming up :)

Now, if I notice a funky smell at the coco surface (yes.... I sometimes sniff the medium... lol) I'll add some Sensizyme to the rez, or if they look like they need a little "kicker", I might add Nirvana, but only because I have it on hand.

I wish I could find a grower nearby who wanted to swap nutes for a run. I'd like to try Canna or Dutch Masters nutes. But, I have zero complaints with AN's results, and other than the prices for the full bevy, I doubt most users would :)
:pass::cheers:
