Seven of eight above soil, one last straggler coming along. But then, who doesn't love a runt? After reading Charlotte's web as a kid I can't bare to kill off the runts, humble pig! I'm wondering if the growing method I'm using wouldn't favor runts, a smaller plant would eat up less nutrition from the soil at a slower rate meaning available nutrients without supplementation further into it's life cycle.
