Old Reviews Control Wizard Accurate 8 pH meter

Yeah I'm always a little sceptical about these lookalike products, but it may be worth a shot.im gonna hit them with a message to ask if its not up to standard can i return it,and can they can do it for under £15 to avoid vat :smokebuds: who'd have thought getting a decent soil ph probe in the uk would be so tricky lol
Also just looking on this American site at accurate8 http://www.hydrogalaxy.com/meters-testing-ph/soil-meters/accurate-ph-8-soil-ph-moisture-meter/#
I also found this on the same site which looks the same, just cheaper http://www.hydrogalaxy.com/meters-testing-ph/soil-meters/prestige-soil-ph-moisture-meter/

Check out post #29 and a couple after in his thread, seems the cheaper ones are ok.

I just ordered mine:woohoo:If anybodys looking for me, I'll be out by the mailbox waiting!:D

Budz...if you get them can you give me a product Test with them please..?

It would be helpful to us all.

I took a fancy to that accurate8 myself..so it would be good to see a review rather than reading the seller bumph.

I got a more expensive glass soil probe..I have smashed the tip within a couple of months and am having probs finding spares..so something that is virtually unbreakable would be Good..:D

I don't use mine that much. But I do like the Accurate8, they are a little pricey. So much easier than trying to test run off, with the long probe it is very easy to place where ever in the pot you want to test. Very easy to read and just hit a button and you can check the moisture of the soil as wellHop digity

They are constructed well but don't drop them. I dropped my first one and started getting inconsistent readings afterward. Had to replace it.

Add me to the list of satisfied owners! After reading this thread I promptly went out and bought two. For a ph meter they work amazingly well. I plugged mine in the soil and within minutes had a very accurate reading. The moisture button on it, ehhh, I wasn't impressed. Reads way too high for my liking but in all honesty I could care less about it reading the moisture, I just wanted to see if my ph was rising without having to water. For that I give it an A+. I checked it along side my calibrated Hannah 98129 and it was spot on. Also, as I added ph'ed water it was picking up the difference while pouring. Very nice.

Thanks all for the recommendation!

Ive been looking for a good ph tester thats affordable, I'm going to order one for myself
