Once again Nirvana came thru w/ 3 for 3 germination ... 5 days ... I'm already 2 days behind ... These need to be little bushes three weeks from today ... Hopefully the next photos will show more ...
:tiphat:
Two are doing well ... the other is having trouble shedding it's inner husk ... I thought it had died but I'm giving it a couple days under a glass to see if added humidity will help it ... Never run across one like this ... the inner husk is tough like plastic and has resisted all attempts at removal ... but there is a little green leaf trying to come thru ...
The past couple days have been cool w/ highs in the mid 50s ... took the ABM outside for a couple hours each day ... removed it from it's pot today to set in the sun in cool temperatures ... nice root ball ... seems to be aging her as hoped. She now has multiple yellow leaves and has frosted nicely ... placed back in pot to bring back indoors ... she'll be coming down any day now ...
Photos from 4/29 showed a plant that looked too green to harvest ... I've been taking her outdoors for 4-6 hours of cool temps each day w/ the result being a plant that now looks like it's almost ready ... I don't know if the temps have added any trichs or actually helped age the plant ...
:tiphat:
The Short Rider that is having trouble shedding it's inner husk is still alive and showing a tiny bit more green ... :dance2:
Very happy to report that I still have three Short Rider seedlings ... one is confused :dunno: but it's alive w/ one tiny leaf ... I expect it to be a bush in about two weeks ... The other two are doing great ... The Blue Mystic is about ready and I think it will be coming down this weekend ... My friend says I've been here less than two weeks and already I've killed his plant ...
:tiphat:
All Short Riders are a week old today ... One is a fast grower while one is probably fairly normal and the third is still awful darned small ... they have just 2 weeks to become little bushes and make me proud ... this is the point where I usually start worrying about if I stunted them somehow ... I stunted the smallest by clumsily removing the seed hull a day or two early, I hope it recovers enough to go outdoors in 2 weeks ... The Blue Mystic looks pretty bad and needs to come down ASAP ...
:tiphat:
Right on time ... they've been up for 10 days and two of them were ready to be 'pony tailed' to help them bush out ... the third is trying to catch up ... to facilitate faster growth I moved the 180HO in w/ the DS100 ... I now have over 200 actual LED watts pushing these seedlings along ... my last Short Rider grow was done under 368 actual LED watts ...
