I buy mine from the pet store. I find that it's more consistent than other brands. I find mine in 8qt blocks packaged in 3 for 9 bucks.
I just use the cheap GH blocks from the hydro store. Never had any issues with them at all, So far.
 
I use the roots organic blocks at HTG because it's local but they were out the last time I had to throw together a soil mix so I grabbed this stuff..I like the fact I didn't have to moisten it,let it expand and break it up..Came as a loose mix..I don't remember how much it was, probably more for your money buying it by the block but I don't mind..Especially come harvest time.

Just drove through a monsoon to get a steak and cheese sammich. Trees down all over the place. Traffic lights flickering out....

But it was so worth it..

Actually the only reason I went out was to make sure I had some food before the power fails... Which I would be shocked if it doesn't sooner or later tonight

Now you made me hungry. I have to wait till family gets home with some groceries.
