Rules of Engagement for Growbattles 2018 .

Growbattles will be Open to All Challengers.

Rule Change affecting [HASHTAG]#short stuff[/HASHTAG] Gladiators Only.***

@Ripper [HASHTAG]#keeperoftherules[/HASHTAG] has agreed to an extension for the [HASHTAG]#short[/HASHTAG] stuff Gladiators to cover the late postal.

It will now have a germ date of 1st October 2018. Poll date 8th Jan 2019


There will be a two week germ period prior to the official start date.

A Battle code will be released by @Ripper 2 weeks prior to the Battle start date to be included in your germ photo

For germ pic the Code is ( Finals 2018 ) place on a 3x5 card or similar

No entries will be accepted after the Battle start date..

Final pictures will include the full pot and plant. On the pot will be a 3x5 card or piece of paper with the growers name finish date and a specialized password that will be given by Ripper just prior to the grower taking final pictures.

Growers may grow however many plants they want but must choose their competition plant at the 30 day mark of the competition.

1. Do we have to do a germ pic? I normally just plant my seed and let it do its natural thing.
2. How exactly does one specify a desire for test team?
3. Can i run the same plant that im documenting as a test for a breeder?

Think on it:
Does knowledge have intrinsic value or does it need to have a practical use to have value?

1. Yes...usual Battle Rules will apply.....but.....that can be a photo of your girl breaking soil.

2. You can Either Complete a Grow Diary on AFN..or just jump in here.....do your weekly updates...and Finish the battle.
You don't have to Win...just Complete...and if you Want...you will get a place on Level1 seed test team for 2019.

3. If it is an Official Test and you Finish..that would qualify you alone. If it is unofficial..yeah...just document it here and finish...

Thanks you @Mossy , so if I get this right, this is a battle arena to become a tester? If this is so, two weeks Before September 1st an auto bean needs to be dropped and then post updates and information about the grow here from start to finish? Thanks again for your help.

I am an FNG grower and I have some plants going now, I'd love to get involved, but I don't have any dinafem seeds... So I'll just watch the grows!!
