Well I'll have to research that VPD chart before I can make any comments on it. But I can tell you I think it's a good idea to keep your temperature difference between lights on and lights off as close as you can possibly get, that will also keep humidity stable.
I've always been happy with humidity between 40 and 60% unless I'm in late flower and then I like to be about 40 or even a little lower like I am right now.
@jingo i think the concept of using the VPD chart is that keeping optimal water vapor pressure in the air allows optimal transpiration through the leaves. I've had a lot of people say they keep their RH low even down into the 30s through the entire grow for more resin production. I've also seen people saying they keep their RH higher even up to 70-80% through flower for better yield. Also seems they run higher humidity in conjunction with higher temps. Seems there are a lot of different opinions on it.
I've thought about adding more humidity but I've always thought of using something like UVB light to sterilize the air as its circulated. That way I wouldn't have to worry about mold spores and such.

Yeah the biggest thing I have seen with the higher humidity grows is air circulation. They keep a lot of air circulation and recycling. Also a lot of them are using co2 in conjunction with the higher humidity for compounded effects.
For me it's a toss-up between number 2 and number 4. I kind of like a bud shot that has a depth of field to it or should I say the foreground and the background is a little blurry but the bud is nice and tight.
