Indoor day 53 pics confused?

According to my dates this is day 53, i was under the impression that when the hairs begin to turn brown its nearly ready to chop. This is my first grow so i don't want to F k up and chop too early. I am growing in Bio allmix and using biobizz nutes, i only started the bloom nute last week!.
Its a northern light Big BUd and it says flowering time 50-60 days.
Any thoughts

greetings steelydan, i've had a few early finishes lately but i'd say you could get let her go a bit longer yet mate. Someone more qualified should give you a better opinion soon though. looking good though buddy!

The hairs are still mostly white. You have a whole lotta time before its time to harvest. With autos it's more about the leafs turning than any thing else. Muddy has a dang near perfect way of knowing when the plant is ready, you should read his thread. Those girls look wonderful, keep up the great job! Grow karma sent your way!

Thanks, i have read up on when to harvest, i just thought that the hair colours starting to turn brown was at the very end. I am maybe confused about the times day 53?, maybe my dates are wrong and i put the start date when they went under the light which was about 10-15 days after sprouting and that would make it 65'70 days. I will be watching carefully as i think that i need to stop nutes a few days before the chop.

one little question, would it be silly to chop off a little bud for a taster? I could buy a 10 quid bag locally but it really is shit weed and at less than a gram expensive. It is quick dried, not cured and what i call commercial, ie grown for profit.
I compare it to a bottle of tesco own brand whiskey to a 10 year old malt whiskey they both give you a buzz!

Go for it but not hte upper ones, stick to the bottom better.

As for the days, forget it and read your plant.... and again read Muddy's link: https://www.autoflower.org/f4...abis-5113.html and you will get a clue on their live cycle
What you read on the packs are like any marketing gimmicks... BS....

Cheers for that, i reckon i got my dates mixed up so its probably 70 or more days. But your right, i am gonna look at the leaves and chop them down when they look ready.
