I got myself one of these drivers thinking it would be easy to use a screwdriver and just raise and lower the current with ease. Well guess what... you can't. so if you want effective dimming control make sure you get the B version.

Why can't you? I have 2 of those drivers but I don't have my build done yet. Just started today. If you pull those rubber plugs out you can see a Philips adjustment screw in the hole. Doesn't it have any affect at all? I guess I'll find out. Pipes
The head of the adjustment screw is so slight it makes adjusting it too hard to do on a regular basis. It is more of a 'set it to a level and leave it there'. Just thought ide let people know for when they are designing their builds.
When I was looking down the adjustment hole it appeared to me that the Philips screw looked flat rather than beveled like a normal screw if you know what I mean. I looked to me that a custom ground flat screw driver might work better. Just a thought
Just a tip. Tjeck the specs on meanwellˋs website on the driver before purchase. If the driver have the function for dimming (A) mean that you can't use a potentiometer for that specific function. some have pvm and 10v dc and resistance. (B)3 In 1) and some only have pvm and 10v dc. And no resistance.

As long as I have easy access to the top of the driver, I don't have any problem adjusting the pot. It's just a plastic philips head. I use a precision screwdriver, but any thin screwdriver that's long enough will work.
The difference in dimming between the A and B is that the A is built-in and only goes down to 50%, while the B has a wire that lets you locate the pot farther away if you want and it can go below 50%, to 0 I think but can't remember.

Finally got it built and it's easier than I thought it was going to be to dim but still not as easy as it could have been if the screw was a bit more substantial. But what a lovely colour these cobs give off. Gonna use it for wallpapering before it goes in the tent! Still got to get a junction box and tidy it all up but want to say a big thanks to
