She`s 34 days old today,,
Preflower stretch
She have Zerro burn marks only stretch marks
Drinking 0,8L 2,3 ec / 1145ppm a day PPm not stable drops everyday,, she´s hungry
I def.. like the cres and def.. keep this config,
This will be the last post with weed grow in this thread,,
She will be moved to my dr40 during the weekend,,,
Im still impressed of what can be done with little amount of wattage,:jaw:

The rest of her journey will be in the micro section..

very impressive grow just ordered one of these to try for a first led grow http://www.aliexpress.com/item/2014...0-840nm-70W-DIY-led-grow-chip/1606410224.html have a heat sink and fan from an old 12 volt cooler that should keep it cool looks like a cheap way to give leds a try. also ordered one of these to test http://www.aliexpress.com/item/1X-W...atables-Green-Led-Grow-Lights/1911977694.html. have experience with photos but this is my second auto grow. hope it works as well as yours.I love these low budget led threads

still waiting for 3 watt 430 and 470 NM leds to arrive to supplement the spectrum. this cob only produces one wavelength of blue with a slightly broader bandwidth than white led. looks like a white led with a red phosphor. the 54 watt bulbs only drew 17 watts but are well made and can be customized at no extra charge.may work well for a "ghetto" grow light they even added 3 watt 430nm diodes to mine at no extra charge.

it is much larger than the heat sinks being sold on e-bay for 200 watt diodes. the ribs are far enough apart to accomodate 10 watt cobs and can be milled down for larger cobs and with a 80CM muffin fan on top and the top of the heat sink covered to force air to flow thru the finds and out the end it should keep your diodes very cool.the price seems very reasonable. I have one that I will be using on my project when the diodes arrive.I will also be adding a thermal breaker http://www.allelectronics.com/make-a-store/item/thsw-167/thermal-protector/1.html to shut off power to the diodes if the fan fails and they start to get hot. hope this is helpful

Also, the DHT11 Temp sensor might be suitable. You could have an arduino set to turn an 'always on' off relay to kill power to your lights and it's really cheap from china or domestically.

thermal breakers are simple mechanical devices that are not adjustable and reset automatically when the cool down. they are available in different trip tempratures and are very reliable they don't need a separate power supply and are as reliable as a standard fuse. with a controller driven device there are many things that can go wrong with protective devices you want to keep it as simple and reliable as possible.a computer controlled dimmer to limit temprature and keep the lights running at reduced power in the event of a cooling system failure maybe a good ideal but your final fail-safe should be simple and reliable as possible

After a long time searching i finally found some heatsinks with small form factor
150mmx60mmx25mm
4,69$ a piece with free shipping :thumbs:

10 x 5w chips on each heatsink (27w DC DRAW) running on 2,7w pr chip
1 x 80mm fan will hold 2 heatsink together = 54w / 100w is max
2 x 80mm fan will hold 3 heatsink together = 81w / 150w is max
e.t.c.

Trying out 2 heatsink. (i only have 2 x 900ma drivers left )

If the heatsink stays cold,,, I´ll crank up the juice from 2,7w to 5w max(different driver ofcourse)
This is gonna be fun
