Lighting DIY COB Based LED Growlight Build In Progress!

I'd have loved to gotten the 3590s! But I can upgrade mine with just a chip change and repurpose the current chips when I do.
I get it.. I am limited by my city as to how much I can grow at one time so one bar with the one mars I already did will be plenty for me... dam restrictions but I guess it is better then not being allowed to do it at all....

This guy grows vertical. He's doing it "silo" style in this pic. He's now converted the flat, vertical screens and LED!!

Now THIS is how to SCROG!

update:

I decided I could put an infared thermometer to good use in the garden and in this project. So, I hopped on ebay. Almost bought a cheapy then I spotted this:

Best price elsewhere? $299 on amazon! Wooooooooo! I have an Extech PH meter and love it. Pricey, but about the best out there for the price. Superior to even Blue Labs.

Specs:

  • Measures surface temperature from -58 to 1832°F (-50 to 1000°C).
  • 50 to 1 distance to target ratio (Example: at 50" distance measures 1" area)
  • Laser pointer improves aim
  • Adjustable emissivity from 0.1 to 1.0 for use on most surface areas
  • Bright white LED backlit display
