1. Is there another medium that I can use that's readily available such as aquarium rocks or anything because I've searched high and low and can't find any clay pebbles as we have zero hydro shops down here in the south???? (sorry for that huge run on sentence but I'm high and I'm not changing it lol)

2. How do you secure the air Stone to the bottom of the bucket without the bottom of the bucket leaking?

3. Is there such thing as too much air?

Thanks in advance!

Hey BB,

In a pinch you could use volcanic rock instead of hydroton/clay pebbles. Local garden supply should have it.
Might be too much of a drive, but Texas hydro has several locations. They do mail stuff and have a web site. Amazon makes it all the way out to Bayou Country too. Who knows, they may even drone deliver in the swamps!

Your airstone will be fine just resting on the bottom of the bucket, it does not need to be secured.

I recommend aiming for close to 20lpm in air supply.
