Indoor Down on Muddy's farm

I've decided to try an experiment with my outdoor grow box. I have no A/C in it, so have it shut down for the summer. Last year I started it back up around the middle of Sept., when the weather got a little cooler, but even then, still had some temp issues during the day. So I was going to wait a bit longer this year, around the end of Sept., beginning of Oct. Then I got to thinking, which usually causes trouble, and thought why not try some photos in there. I can run my lights out from around 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and still have time in the evenings to water and tend them. I may get some spikes into the high 80s during the day but should be able to keep the temps manageable.

I went through my seed stock and picked some out, soaked them till they cracked and got them into some Pro Mix last Friday. Everything germed and the last one popped above the soil yesterday. One each of Pakistan Valley and Night Shade, and two Arjan's Ultra Haze II, all fems. The PV and NS are left overs from lasts years' outdoor photo grow, the AUH from 3 years ago. The AUH had gotten hit bad by spider mites and I didn't get much from them, but I really liked it and have been anxious to grow it again. Till now all my indoor grows have been autos, so I'm breaking some new personal ground with this grow. The PV and NS are both 8 weeks flowering, the AUH about 12. I'll probably veg the AUH for about 3 weeks and a week or so longer on the other two. I don't have a whole lot of height in the box, so want to keep them relatively short, but do plan on topping them to bush them out nicely. The NS in particular responded very well to topping and produced a very even canopy top.

Still debating what size pots to use. I'll probably use 3 gallon but have given some though to going a bit bigger. I've got some that are about 4.5 gallon, but they are smooth sided, which I hate. May stop at the local nursery that sells used pots and see if I can pick up a couple 4 gallon ones, if he's got them. They will be grown in Pro Mix HP using the AN pH Perfect nutes.

Mr. Muddy, how do you like the Pakistan Valley?
Would you say it helps with pain?

Whoever this Appoignbori douche is,I'd like to punch him right in his piehole:firedevil:

Just found this thread Muddy. Definitely sub'd. Plants look amazing and kudos to you for helping your friend with MS.

I like it a lot and have found it to be an excellent medical strain. I kept about an oz. from the one I had last year and keep it just for medical use. It's helped both my wife and I with leg pain, a friend with a pinched nerve in his neck and another with shoulder pain. I want to use some of this plant to make some salve. My wife is prone to spots of basal cell skin cancer and I think it will be effective against that as well. I also want to get some to our friend with MS to try.

Pakistani Ryder was bred from PV. With it's ruderalis influence PR is not quite the same as the PV. The stone on the PV is a bit stronger. However, PR is also a good medical strain. Both have high levels of CBD.

It's an enclosed, insulated box. I use Blackstar LEDs in there. There's an album of pictures in my profile.
