ok so i have tried using these volksgardens once b4 ad a few weeks into flowering i got into a bad car accident (wasn't my fault) and was in the hospital for a few days n all my plants died. so i switched over to soil for a while n now I'm giving it another shot by running both wheels at once.

for those of u who don't know what rotary gardens are check out the volksgarden website : https://www.omegagarden.com/index.php?content_id=175&product_id=1

so basically the plants are in rock wool cubes and go into these mounting cubes, i mount them into the wheel. the wheel spins at roughly 1 revolution every 50 minuets. so for one hour a day every day i the pump turns on in the water res and pumps water into the trays that hold the wheels and as the wheel spins the plants dip into the water and resoak for the day.

so here we have two volksgardens one with a 504w led and the other one with a 450w hps. both are hooked up to the same water res. also i have an exhale co2 bag keeping the room around 1000 ppm co2 when they get bigger I'm going to add a second or third one to keep it around 1500. i also use the aqua marine pinpoint ph monitor, this uses co2 tanks and a regular air pump to regulate the ph inside the water res. right now it is on all day I'm going to hook it up to a timer so it is only on for 30 minuets before the pumps turn on so its not wasting co2 all day keeping the ph at 5.8

so the girls are not even a week old

Love it. The volksgarden is such a unique design. Reminds me of something Heath Robinson would build. Anyway, I'm defo subbed. Let's see you rock this grow.

sub'd

so I am really curious, as the plants put and get late into flower, when the garden rotates is water/feed dripping down onto the buds when the plants are upside down?

no the rock wool does not et completely soaking wet it just picks up enough to stay moist and nothing drips and the plants stay fed and happy

heres a quick update

 WOW! Dual volksgardens pretty impressive! Is Kripleberry a photo? That is a crazy LED light, what brand? I've never seen a 360 degree LED grow light. :peace:

led is winning at the moment but i think leds have been proven to work better for veg then hid
