Your leaves "praying" up is a good thing. Praying for mag is a misnomer, it is not true. I have read Kushman several times explain that is exactly what he looks for when he is growing, the sign of a healthy plant. Now, to be perfectly clear. I am talking about leaves pointing up, not the edges. When the edges point up it can be a sign of heat stress, humidity problems, light stress, ph problems. There are several things that will case "canoeing".

I am speaking specifically about the leaves pointing up towards your light. You aren't going to get that trying to withhold nutrients, like Nam said, don't do it.

I may have cited the theory incorrectly I may just not understand it fully. On another forum there's a guy who specializes in high brix growing. If I remember correctly it wasn't that you'd be withholding nutrients. The high brix is basically a super soil and his amendment recipe is designed to be borderline mag def. He said you want them right to the point before they curl up if that makes any sense.

Either way on all the grows I've seen praying leaves has always been a sign of healthy plants.

Sorry i have been so busy and i have let this thread go to shit. I promise to make a decent thread for my next grow.
My bulb blew over the week since i have been running my lights on for 24hours. So i had to put back in the old bulb now.
