Evol's bulk mushroom attempt

This has me glued to my seat, congrats evol! Never seen this done in all my years, thanks for posting this info. im going to look for some video on doing this, Monkey doesn't absorb what he reads very well, so i need the visuals

Give it a try. Just be sterile. It's pretty simple and its getting exciting for me now that I KNOW I did it all correctly. I can't wait to trip off of my own mushrooms!

You should definitely give it a try. If you're really intimidated by the idea or have no real equipment (extra clear tubs, pressure cooker, etc) even the classic PF Tek will provide you with more mushrooms than you could use after a grow. If you want visual aids, I can't recommend 'Let's Grow Mushrooms' enough. He goes through PF Tek and grain bulk, as well as agar work and cloning step by step. The guy is a mushroom genius and pretty famous in certain circles, and has done mushroom grows that would impress anyone. Also, sclerotia ('philosophers stones') are even easier and provide a 'cleaner' experience, but a pressure cooker is necessary for growing them.

That's sexy as hell. I love how fast they grow, it seems like they go from tiny pins to beefy, dense mushrooms almost overnight. I never get tired of seeing that, so thanks for all the pics!

Why do you say that? Did SW send you a message? You won't be able to know for sure until they're almost fully grown, but I hope for your sake they're not. B+ is infamous for dud mushrooms, and it would suck to get this far for duds.

I have a thread on a mycology website and a member there told me they are probably GT. The day before that another member said they look like PE so idk. They are getting bigger every few hours so I don't think they will be duds but again idk.
I'm glad you like the pics and I'll keep updating daily. I'm actually checking on these more then my plants at this point. It's very interesting to watch them grow.
