You might want to think about beefing up your sub the next time you decide to grow. Coir doesn't have many nutes on its own so it's usually best used if you're looking to dump after one quick flush, like a quick perpetual mushroom garden. You could beef it up with poo or compost, which would both add some potency to your harvest and provide enough nutes for multiple decent harvests. A trick that I like to use is adding small amounts of whole flax or niger (usually sold as thistle seed for bird feeders) seeds. These both have tough outer shells that take the mycelium time to eat through, so it adds a bunch of sudden nutes for the second and third flushes, when the mycelium would normally have to start searching for more nutes. I wouldn't use flax unless you do use poo, it has too many nutes and fats for just coir to handle on its own; you'd risk rancid fats in your container and contams if you did. Niger seed is fine for just coir, though.
And bird seed can be a giant pain in the ass for new growers, you might want to give popcorn a shot. It's not as cheap as WBS, and its larger size means you have to spawn heavier because you'll have fewer inoculation points (and slower growth) if you don't. But it's a single grain instead of the multiple you get in WBS and it's ridiculously easy to get the moisture content correct. I usually use a blend of popcorn and millet myself, to keep it easy and have more inoculation points. I love popcorn because 2lbs (2 regular 1lb bags available anywhere) correctly hydrated will fill 7 quart jars to just the right level, which is all my PC can hold at once.
I have been looking up recipes for shrooms and found some good ones I wanted to share with you all. If you have any good ones feel free to post them.
Mushroom Jello - On a stove, heat 2 cups of water until it's almost boiling. Remove it from the heat, and steep your mushroom in the water for several minutes, stirring occasionally. Strain out the mushrooms. Then mix the contents of 1 packet of your favorite flavor Jello with the water and refrigerate until it hardens. If you want an even more potent (albeit less tasty) treat, try stirring in chopped up mushrooms when the Jello starts to thicken (usually around 1 1/2 hours after being put in the refrigerator). -Edit- After reading all the teks for making tea and whatnot I came to the conclusion that for this recipe you should add a little bit of lemon juice to the hot water then steep your mushrooms. Lime Jello would taste best with this imo. _evol_
Mushroom instant soup - Just mix your powdered shrooms with your favorite flavour of Cup-A-Soup, add water, and steep for 10 minutes. Any flavour should work, and you won't taste a thing!
Mushroom Chocolate - Take some chocolate (milk chocolate works best) and melt it in a double boiler or in the microwave. Allow it to cool as much as it can without getting hard, then mix in the mushrooms. Put it in the freezer until it hardens. Eat it quickly while it's still cold.
Be careful with mixing chocolate and mushrooms; chocolate has (very) mild MAOI properties, so it will make your trips stronger. Nothing too bad, but it can be a hell of a surprise if you're not careful. Another drawback is if you don't dose small (<2g), you end up needing to eat a bunch of chocolate. Not bad on its own, but it can be an awful lot of sugar to start a trip with, and unless they're made well it may upset your stomach on top of the belly rumbles mushrooms can also cause. An easy way around that is to make mushroom cocoa, just like you make mushroom tea but add chocolate. Plain cocoa works fine, but I sometimes like going gourmet and using Abuelita Mexican cocoa 'tablets' for the great flavor.

I usually eat my mushrooms as is (maybe finish with a chocolate bar to clean my teeth and potentiate), but I've made a ton of mushroom chocolates, blue honey (powdered mushrooms stored in honey), blue vodka (mushrooms steeped in alcohol), and others over the years. Let me know what you'd like and I'll try to post something up.
Ha, I sounded like a right goon asking that question the other day, didn't come out how I meant it lol, rather than trying to 'recreate an acid high', I'm actually just trying to add a bit of body high to the intense visuals I get from the Pans, closest thing I could think of to compare it to at the time was Lucy lol. Thanks for answering that though dude. Once I've worked out the doses I'll give it a shot. The most I've gone to with the Pans so far is 2.7 grams and loved it (Visuals as good as any acid I've had, which I suppose is where that came from) but literally no body high at all so it was really hard to judge where abouts in the trip you were. Not that it really matters but the psychedelic waves you feel through yopur body are one of my favourite things and I really missed it.
Lol, it didn't sound too bad. I thought you may have meant something different than what it sounded like, but I try not to assume too often so I went with it. I'd probably start with half your normal dose of each and adjust from there. I enjoy the somatic effects of Cubes sometimes, but if I eat a lot then it causes me stomach grumbles and uncontrollable yawning. Depending on how many waves you're looking for and how potent your Cubes are it may only take 1.5-2g to do what you want.
