Is that okay to use or should I let it sit out to get rid of chlorine?

I did a bunch of research and never really saw anything about this.

Also some places said only room temp water but a few said cold was okay what do you guys think?

Make sure your fridge has a carbon filter and you should be fine for removing chlorine. Make sure your water doesn't have chloramine as I don't think carbon does anything for that.

Also when was the last time you changed the fridge filter?

High and welcome to AFN!
I use filtered tap water, three carbon stages... I get about 80-90 ppm. I still let it sit before I use it. I would just like to mention that a water filter that is past it's prime is worse than none at all. I found this out the hard way. My water was contaminated with bacteria, I waited way to long to change it.

Thanks for the help everyone!

I don't know the last time the filter was changed or the specs of it, but I will let it sit anyway.

Also thanks for the bacteria info I'll watch out for that at. My red solo cup's perlite has turned yellowish could it be from that?
