Old Reviews Firefly or Ascent ? Portable vape

i'm looking to get my wife and i a new portable vape since she broke the atmos raw (which really wasn't a vaporizer) but upon looking today i see the davinci ascent is out now and so is the Firefly both getting good reviews, but i'm leaning toward the firefly... anyone with experience give me heads up on either?

Ive not heard of either of those,but I dont know much bout Vape pens.Ive only owned one.If you get either one,please let me know how you like it.my slide in sleaves for mine get tainted with the smell of hot cannabis n has a funky taste if the smoke is more earthy.wierd.so needless to say Im looking for a new one too.Thanks a lot Prez,happy hunting man.

I've used my friends ascent, personally I find it has a slight plastic taste in my mouth compared to my solo Arizer, but it is extremely well built

If stealth and portability aren't major concerns I'd recommend the solo Arizer hands down for a digital vape

I posted a review on my Vapman yesterday, might be worth a peak also, love that unit

I've been using the ascent for a good few months now, took a while to get use too.
But I really enjoy using it now, the highs are just amazing from it.
So far not had any problems, there is a slight rubbery taste for the first week or so but that soon goes.
Flavour is amazing too, but depends on what your vaping too.

Never tried the firefly but own a Ascent and I would recommend it to anyone BUT the firefly is also a great vaporizer judging by the guys and girls at Vapefiend that make very good reviews off both products

Only going on reviews I have seen and read I would choose the Firefly.

The ascent is a great vape but can be a little smelly due to the fact that the air inlet in under the point where the herb gets vaporized and can leak vapor through this point and even when not on the used herb is right by the grill.

The firefly has a borosilicate glass bowl and a heat sink to cool your vapor, it also has a swappable battery so you can buy extras and have them in reserve for longer vape sessions or camping trips etc.

I plan to get Firefly first but there again if I can afford it I'll buy an Ascent too.

IMO the Ascent is the better vaporizer. The Firefly is way over priced for a vape who's only distinguishing feature is a removable battery. There's no temp control. Variable temp is a nice feature as you can customize the temp to your liking.

Neither. I had 3 acent from toronto vaporizer the 4th time they let me swap it with a solo One was the gasket aft 6month heavy use it fell apart and air leeks their bad for it 2 Charging. Would not stop charging got wiked hot Was 2 days old 3 screnn quit. I tried the jars has tobe clean clean stuff put in but a coton ball with a lil eflud steams it clean The water tool adapter streches the hole out then the stem leeks If youre looking for sumething that you pack and works all the time thees arent them I do look forward to what davinci comes out next all the problems aside ints enjoyable Id realy like a pax tho tinny one peice

I have an Iolite also. I use it now mostly as a take along.
Its great when out and about as it has a reasonable run time, and you can get little 2 ounce butane cans that will take up little space in a glovebox. Refilling takes 3 seconds!

I still like my Iolite after all these years. Reliable and simple.
