Indoor FİRST DWC GROW "Think Dİfferent" need help all the way through...

start freezing bottles of water to toss in there to keep temps down. :) no sweat. but there was one really good product.... hmmm what was it.... I think it started with an "H" it eats old root and dead stuff. what was it.... I'll try to find the bottle and tell ya.

Gearbear, you're talking about hygrozyme. That stuff is expensive.

There is also Aquashield that you can buy, it's not too bad on price. And if you wanna try and make your own check out How to Breed Beneficial Microbes for DWC Root Slime Cure aka Heisenberg Tea sticky. Thats what I use and it works for me.

Yup, thanks bud. I only had root rot a little bit one time... and that was passed on to me. It did the trick. That was all I really knew of. Thanks, highman. I was growing in a garage taht got up to 110 so it's to be expected lol.

Yea, when you're growing hydroponically you can definitely expect rot, slime, algae or some other root problems but there are ways and methods to deal with them.

Some people use the hygrozyme and the aquashield together. The hygrozyme is an enzyme and the aquashield is beneficial bacteria. That way they are protecting themselves against pretty much all the issues you can come across with your root system.

Sorry it took me so long to respond, but yeah - I was thinking Aquashield. 1HM is being stingy with his link too, haha. https://www.autoflower.org/f61/how-...root-slime-cure-aka-heisenberg-tea-15586.html That's a thread 1HM posted about how to brew beneficial microbes that will stop and or prevent root rot.

I didn't mean to scare you, but if your temps are consistently that high you're guaranteed to get AT LEAST algae brother. Everyone gets some root slime eventually but the thing is, with those temps if you get it, it's going to thrive like all hell. I agree with the water bottle suggestions. Rez temps are the reason I abandoned DWC all together because I could not get them settled at a reasonable cost to me.

Hey ppl,

Thanks a lot for your infos. Now searching the solutions on the net.

I did some changes today in my cupboard. This frozen bottle is working but i am lazy to check every hour and change the bottles, ... so, i took the air pump outside of the window so its blowing cold air to the res. and build a protection box for rain and snow. Now water temp down to 18-19 C.I changed the res. water again but less nutes in it. (130 PPM and PH 5.8). Last two hours i am watching the res. temp. stabilized but PH up to 6.2 and PPM 136. Don't understanding whats going on. IT really could be an algae.

All good info...was going to suggest putting the pump somewhere colder:booya:good move bro.You could also cover the res in insulated material .I'm a builder & used some silver foil roof insulation to cover my home made resies ... also reflective for better cooling.

Nutes can take upto 24hrs to fully mix with the water so the ppm will rise a bit in that time before settling (maybe as much as 50ppm?) .... this could be why your ppm are going up as well as ph ... check again in 24hrs & i will guess the ppm will have dropped & your ph will be up even more ?... If so ,up the feed :peace:Keep us posted yea
