i can dial them to either 600 750 1000 or 1215 in super lumens but I would never use this with a 1000 watt bulb risking it to explode....currently my t5 is being used as an experiment to bloom a couple mob and super skunk. but most of my autos are under the 750 watt lamps and there almost a month old about 12'' in height and the seedlings are off to the side so I just rotate them seeing how they lean towards the light. I looked into the power co. discount thing a few months ago and though it was only a limited time to enroll so I didn't. I just don't use my lights between 8-12 because you get penalized for peak hours even when not enrolled.... but im interested in the info to get enrolled if you have it it would be much appreciated man....thanks

just catching up on your grow. I would have your lights around 18 inches or so, just test heat on plants with back of your hand pointed to the light. if it is too hot move light up but with air cooled sealed hoods being directly vented(which is what I gather you are doing) should be very cool, so you will have to test but I think you can get closer than that but will cut down on your light spread. I would personally run the lights at lower w setting till the light doesn't seem to penetrate the leaves. If you are getting good penetration you should be fine. They are going to kick into high gear soon and your gonna shit yourself.
Don't underestimate how much water they will soak up daily. I don't run them in soil so I can't say but in hydro it is unreal.
I run my lights at 20/4 whole way through, and no dark period needed.
I didn't switch mh / hps until big veg growth stopped. your gonna see bud sites and some popcorn starting and in your mind its like, holy shit bud time, but just wait and keep cranking growth, then hit with hps when plant is massive and concentrate energy on buds.

my dehumidifier is 75 pints and im emptying it 2-3 times daily and giving each plant 700ml of water every other day or daily how ever they feel....all I know is there loving it... I might not use co2 on the next one but I didn't have a good intake set up for the room where I didn't want to cut a shit load of holes in the walls because im moving into a larger room soon after this grow....
and......they begin to fill in A LOT! have 18 new additions to my collections of some MOB and OG Kush clones (for outdoors and other CG's).... Threw in a picture of ''Wrong Turn'' she's filling in also... the big fat leaf in the first picture is an OG13 seedling....There starting to drink a lot now about 700ml/day or every other day and the dehumidifier is sucking out a lot too... 75 pint tank between 1 and 2 tank fills ''goes into res''I wish I had bought a couple 1000 watt MH only got 2 600's and now I am pissed I didn't the 600 didn't seem to be penetrating very good....But its been 48 hours with the HPS and they are exploding I just hope I am not harming them to much with HPS or loosing to much yield?

usually around day 30 from what i've ready, you can also help it go into flower by feeding it flower nutes.
