I dunno man if they're that stiff you might wanna leave them. Wouldn't wanna snap a perfectly fine branch. Were you tieing it down cause its too close to the light or to get more even penetration?

yeah that was my orig. concern but I think I would rather have a little bit of stress then get mold through all my buds. 65% RH is very high imo and when light go out even with a 75 pint dehumidifier it goes near 75% and its only because it is rainy and warm here in maine and very humid out. that's why I figured I would switch lights to 24 hours on while it is wet and humid maybe until Monday then back to 20/4 What I don't know Is if I will get mold at 65% RH with the amount of air movement I have. the 2 box fans move a lot plus the osolating wall fan. So does anyone think I will be ok for a couple days at a high RH with lots of air movement.. I keep checking leaves for PM and see no signs of it but I know it can come quickly and I will CRY hysterically if my crop gets mold..
Just thinking it might be a good idea like Tony said but I don't think there going to climb towards the light anymore. They are about 18-20'' away from them and the taller ones can be moves between lights if need be. There is only 4 more that are taller then the rest.. There is one I snapped to much but surprise to me it is filling in very nice.. I will post pic late but it snapped over about 1 week ago so I just left it be and now there is a knuckle where the bend was

Soon you'll have LEDs and you won't be worrying about the lights penetrating deep enough :thumbs: also 10" is optimal height for a 1000w so you could drop it down a bit to penetrate deeper unless of course you have it up higher for other reason like coverage or heat issues. Staggered harvest could be another good option for you, take all the tops and leave the bottom half for another week or so to fatten up a bit
Yeah that's what I will be doing for harvest seeing how its only me and maybe her trimming all of these anyways ... Also your right about light spread if I drop it does not cover very well. About half of them are 18'' and others are about 12
ok maine... I tied a couple down that I could. First pic is the largest I could tie and will go further down this weekend. then the next 4 pics are the one I snapped trying to tie last week and seems to be filling in nicely. Then just a shot of the clones in the aerocloner. popping roots everywhere now. I think its day 6-7 in the machine and I will let them go until about 10'' of roots are hanging then transplant. 2 of them are going into DWC bucketssorry the second pic is my diesel auto.... smalls buds so far but by far the frostiest of all

Nice man looking good I think they'll be happy with a little more light underneath :thumbs: it's crazy how you can snap a plant and they still make it I love weed haha I had that knuckle type thing form on a stem where I tied the string too tight but it didn't slow her down and it doesn't look like its slowing yours down either

I'm not a big fan of working so unless the job is growing weed then I'm probably all set haha
HAHA not growing but trimming... I only like the first hour then after that its like fuck this where's the trimming machine when you need it
