Is there any type of icon when you write a post that you can click? I use tapatalk on my Iphone and theres a series of little icons for pictures and a thing for twitter when I type a reply

Tbh I hv no idea I'll figure it out when I'm not heading to work well anyway still no sign of germination

Right its been 2.5days checked my seedtoday no sign of it popping yet. Lots of condensation so its obv warm and damp iv been puttin it on my windowsill during the day and moving it at night considering the outside temperature is about -5 but my rooms toasty. Alanso iv just started pre soaking my soil mix in some fresh snow melt brought to room temperature with about hlf a teaspoon of miracle grow just to put some life into it.

Hey dr Rob, :smokebuds:hopefully tomorrow you will see a little tail. Some take longer than others. -5 sounds cold outside, the window seal it sits on isnt cold is it?, I understand your room is toasty, I just know in the winter here and I have my heat cranking, my window seals are still pretty cold. When I germinate in a paper towel, I rip a paper towel in half and fold each a couple times, then I wet them, not soak them, just wet them, then I lay them on a small plate, and place the seeds in the middle of the towels. Then I wrap the plate with clear plastic wrap to trap the moisture in, and place it on top of my cable box. Keeps the plate nice and warm.:thumbs: Just giving you a method, for your knowledge.

I got told to dampen like a quick spray from the bottle and its inbetween to sheets of bog roll. Do I need the direct sunlight to germinate or will general light do its on top of my tv atm. So shd I have it inbetween paper or on top of paper? I'm loving hvn access to all you smart people

Right I know I'm posting like a clingy girlfriend but I just went to check on my baby and there's the tiniest little root sticking out so I'm going to give it until iv got about an inch of root till I put it in the pot with just my 15W LED for 3-4days

To germinate, it requires no light, you dont need lights til she pops up out of the dirt. You will also need to put the seed/seeds between the paper towels, that way it keeps moisture all around the seed. your gonna wanna wet the paper towel more than just spray it, you could spray it till it gets nice and damp though. Day 1

Right todays the first day of my actual grow. We got germination yesterday and about 1cm of root growth overnight and today. So she's been planted and her 15W LED will switch on at 6 tomorrow morning until 12 tomorrow nite. Pics will follow when there's something worth taking a photo of. Oh and she's called Janice after the great Janice Joplin.

Right quick question read that rain waters got a good ph level and its free for watering. Well its just snowed where I am for the last week so will melting snow and letting it come to room temp do the same job?
